Kerchanshe Trading Company would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.
Position 1: Construction Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing the planning and design stages of construction projects.
- Contributing technical expertise to project drawings and designs.
- Performing cost calculations and preparing financial projections.
- Preparing work schedules in collaboration with the project manager.
- Liaising between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Overseeing construction engineering processes.
- Performing regular tests on materials and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Ensuring that the construction project is completed on time and within budget.
- Documenting processes and keeping detailed construction logs.
- Presenting construction project progress updates to clients and senior managers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, and related fields.
- State-approved license.
- At least 6 years’ experience as a construction engineer in the relevant field of specialization.
- Advance proficiency in construction management soft wares.
- In-depth knowledge of construction industry regulations.
- Exceptional leadership, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Great mathematical, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Availability to visit the construction site outside of business hours, when relevant.

Position 2: Senior General Accountant
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists and participates in the preparation of operational plan of the Finance function.
- Reviews and refines financial transactions and accounts based on Company policies and procedures.
- Prepares the general journals for the company and its subsidiaries.
- Reviews and checks the completeness and adequacy of financial documents.
- Inspects & tests books of accounts for accuracy and performs other advanced general accounting tasks.
- Checks all transactions and decisions are supported by proper documentation and authorization.
- Verifies that bank statements are reconciled with the book of accounts.
- Confirms expenditures are justified, properly made, signed, and charged to correct accounts/project budget.
- Reconciles general ledger for assigned accounts, researches discrepancies and prepares and/or correct journal entries in the general ledger.
- Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
- Participates in the preparation of Corporate financial reports such as balance sheet, income statements (profits and loss) and other related reports.
- Collects and analyzes financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
- Produces error-free accounting reports and presents their results.
- Secures financial information by completing database backups.
- Ensures the Company complies with federal, state, and local financial and legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Reviews and recommends modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
- Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor

Position 4: Senior Construction Accountant
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage ERP system attributes used to control Development Lifecycle reports
- Develop, implement, and maintain construction management system, including setting up projects (jobs), budgets, job costs, cost codes, contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and various construction progress reports.
- Review and analyze capitalization of costs. Ensure compliance with policy.
- Manage process for proper coding of construction invoices (payment applications) and lien releases for contractor and vendor invoices.
- Maintain contract documents including records of lien releases in appropriate files.
- Analyze and review construction status with Project/Construction Managers. Direct and participate in cost analyses.
- Prepare/gather materials related to construction and cost accounting matters for internal and external auditors.
- Coordinate/interface with cost accounting system software provider
Qualifications:
B.A. Degree from recognized university in Accounting and Finance or Accounting
Work Experience:
Above 5 years’ of work experience out of which 2 years as a Senior accountant.
Skills:
- Good understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to Import and Export Trading company, Manufacturing industry and any other company project tasks;
- Basic knowledge of best practices in accounting and financial regulations and other account software;
- Advanced finance and accounting knowledge, including experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
- Strong communication and networking skills;
- Good presentation, analytical and problem solving skills;

Position 5: Senior Tax Accountant
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Makes sure all taxes are recorded on the right general ledger account.
- Declares taxes including VAT, WHT, income tax, profit tax, Excise tax, pensions, and others on time.
- Responsible for implementation of available tax laws, directives, and regulations of the company and the nation.
- Conducts analysis on tax relief business status and report to the management.
- Prepares and gives to the general accounts section to post monthly excise tax provision as per the law.
- Responsible for tax reconciliation and justify if any difference.
- Ensures tax liabilities (VAT, Excise tax, payroll tax, withholding tax, and pension) are calculated correctly and declared & paid on time.
- Makes sure that all tax declarations are reconciled with financial ledger.
- Verifies the details of the input and output VATs and ensures that they are properly reconciled against system VAT ledger.
- Ensures payroll is prepared in line with the Company’s policy and the prevailing tax and labor law.
- Liaises with the tax authority if there is any appeal by the company following tax audits.
- Gives tax training for the finance and management staff as appropriate and keeps them updated when there are new tax laws.
- Organizes and gives tax trainings for the finance and management staff as appropriate and keep them updated when there are new tax laws.
- Advises the management on the tax implications of the company’s strategy and policies.
- Participates in workshop prepared by the tax authority as required and keep the management updated.

Position 6: Senior Internal Auditor
Job Description:
- Recommending and implementing changes to address procedures and practices that are not compliant with regulations.
- Analyzing potential risks within the company and its practices to avoid possible compliance issues.
- Analyzing existing compliance records and making all necessary updates.
- Planning and designing auditing projects and necessary tasks to be completed.
- Ensuring standards of quality and accuracy are maintained in audits and other financial reports.
- Meeting with management and stakeholders to discuss findings and audit outcomes.
- Developing strategies for junior auditors to improve their work outputs.
- Assisting in the auditing process as and when required.
- Submitting audits and reports in a timely manner for further analysis by management.
- Remaining up to date with developments in relevant legislation and the field in general.
- Compiling reports on the results of external and internal audits and presenting these reports to the relevant supervisors and department heads.

Qualification

Position 7: HR and Admin Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as a facilitator/mediator to resolve problems, difficulties and grievances which are presented by individual employees, recommend appropriate measures such as training, reassignment, transfer, or out-placement in consultation with corporate HR team.
- Organize and supervise HR/personnel services to ensure that highly qualified personnel are recruited, developed, and motivated to achieve business objectives.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of employee-relation functions inclusive of employee absences and employee vacations.
- Oversee the health and wellness of employees.
- Ensure documentation of HR & admin related files in both electronic and hard copy format through a clear and concise reference system.
