Kifiya Financial Technologies would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.

Position 1: Merchant Onboarding & Support Officer

Profile Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, or any relevant field
  • 1+ years in field sales, agent onboarding, or customer-facing fintech roles
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
  • High energy, self-driven, accountable personality
  • Familiarity with mobile payments, merchant platforms, or digital lending is a plus
  • Fluent in [Amharic + Local Language]; basic English documentation required
  • Smartphone user with data access & comfort using apps

Position 2: Merchant Support Officer

Profile Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Business, Customer Service, Finance, or related field
  • 1–3 years’ experience in customer service, merchant support, or fintech operations
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, payments, or merchant ecosystems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Proactive and solution-focused mindset
  • Comfortable using dashboards, ticketing tools, and Google Workspace
  • Multilingual skills (e.g., Amharic + local languages) are a plus

Position 3: Business Intelligence & Data Analyst

Who We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in BI, analytics, or reporting (preferably in fintech or digital platforms)
  • Strong in:
    • SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
    • Excel/Google Sheets
    • Dashboard tools (Metabase, Power BI, Tableau)
    • Python or R (a plus, not mandatory)
  • Excellent communication — able to make data meaningful to non-technical teams
  • Curious, proactive, structured thinker who works well under pressure
  • Bonus: Familiarity with credit performance, merchant behavior, or digital finance ecosystems

 Position 4: Director, Enterprise Technologies

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied mathematics, Computer Engineering, Statistics or related fields
  • At least 12+ years of relevant work experience for BSC or 10 years for MSC of which at least 4 years in a managerial role
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment, with an emphasis on high-performance, teamwork, accountability and results
  • Ability to manage multiple IT disciplines, including network operations software development, operations and technical support, and a broad knowledge of systems, applications and operating systems
  • Responsible for providing management of a core area of accountability within the IT organization that includes people and functional management. Facilitates the resource management, subject matter expertise coverage of deliverables, and ongoing coaching and mentoring of their staff
  • Experienced in mid-to-large scale project management, including budgeting
  • Experience overseeing work of consultants and permanent staff
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels and across the business, with the ability to negotiate with, and manage third parties

Position 5: Bank Partnerships Manager (BPM)

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in banking partnerships, corporate relationship management, or institutional business development.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-stakeholder programs with financial institutions.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of lending, digital finance, and fintech ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical thinker with strong reporting and data interpretation abilities.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver results under pressure.
