KMG- Ethiopia would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.
Position 1: Woreda Supervisor
Key Responsibilities and Deliverable:
- Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly activity plan and budget request for the project intervention weredas ;
- Prepare bi-weekly community conversation sessions plan and distribute the same to al community conversation facilitators
- Supervises the Community conversation facilitators and Community Conversation Committees to overtake the CC process
- Supervises and provide technical support and training to CC facilitators, anti FGM club leaders;
- Supervises and coordinate the referral linkages and HCPs survivors support and all other project activities,
- Create linkages between different government offices, women development armies, CSOs, CBOs, FBOs and uncut girls clubs, CC facilitators and community groups,
- Coordinate with Wereda government offices and Kebele administration for smooth implementation of the project activities.
- Conducts monthly progress review meetings of CC facilitators and uncut girls clubs Collects and compiles monthly project’s activity reports and case stories and submit the same to the project coordinator
Locations: Endegagn Wereda(Gurage Zone) Sankura Wereda(Silte Zone) , and Aloti Ulo Wereda (Alaba Zone)
Job Requirements
Required Qualification:
BA in Social Science or Public Health, Community Development, Social work, and other related field at least 2 years of relevant experience of which at least one year experience in the project supervision in community conversation and expertise in gender related project.
Desirable
- Knowledge of the sexual and reproductive health rights, gender equality and harmful customary practices including FGM/C.
- Knowledge of Community Conversation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation
- Basic computer skills
- NGO experience in implementing and supervising projects activities is advantageous
- Local language knowledge is mandatory
Position 2: – ESAP3 Project coordinator (Ethiopian Social Accountability Program)
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Follow-up all the agreed project activities with the project team members;
- Ensures full adherence/compliance to MA new directives and guidelines during project implementation;
- Properly lead the project teams in activity planning, implementation based on allocated budget;
- Provide technical, organizational and coaching support to all the Woreda SA experts including sub partners
- Facilitate monitoring of project activities in collaboration with related govt. officials;
- Supervise the work of the Gender and Social Inclusion and M&E Officers based on their action plan.
- Collaborate with the M&E officer, and provide training to WSAEs
- Coordinate and provides awareness creation about CRC pre-survey activities across the woredas;
- Lead the CRC survey process and ensure availability CRC reports and woreda level JAPs according to MA’s guidance;
- Ensure CRC survey data collection is conducted in accordance with the MA guidance and standards and reports are made available on time
- Facilitates staff and Head office meetings with regards to ESAP
- Organizing documentation of all SA implementation process;
- Preparing and submitting relevant financial and other important reports to the lead organization and MA.

Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience:
- BA/MA degree governance, community development and other relevant social science fields
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience for BA and 5 years for MA
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in facilitating training on governance, social accountability concepts and tools
- Very good knowledge of gender and social inclusion
Terms of Employment: Eight Months contract with possibility of extension based on performance
Position 3: Project Coordinator (PC)
Key Responsibilities and Deliverable:
The position requires leading, coordinating and facilitating community mobilization and development activities in all woredas in the area. You will be responsible but not limited to the following duties. More specifically you will:
- Lead and facilitate all community mobilization and development works on HCP, HIV/AIDS, RH and others in the operational area;
- Ensures team work and harmony among woreda project officers and CC Facilitators;
- Ensure the effective and efficient implementation of project activities of all health and economic related components (Social mobilization on SRH, HIV/AIDS, IGA, FGM, VAW activities);
- Work with Community conversation and other community groups on alternative income generation and community based Development activities;
- Identify capacity gaps among facilitators and woreda staffs and facilitate in capacity building trainings;
- In collaboration with woreda project officers, prepare budget breakdowns and detail activity plan on monthly , quarterly and annual basis;
- Prepare regular and instant reports to be submitted to the government line department and KMG Addis Ababa office monthly, Quarterly and annually.;
- Closely works with Community and faith based organizations, Schools, Girls, and other community groups and associations to eliminate HCP;
- Provide supportive supervision to the project activities in all woreda and kebele organized community groups;
- Strengthen and maintain the relationship with key stakeholders at area, woreda and kebele level to improve the smooth implementation of the project;
- Participate in monitoring and evaluation of all project activities in the operational area in person or individually or with Woreda and Addis Ababa KMG experts and/or relevant government Body;
- Coordinate and supervise the performance of the woreda staffs and facilitators to effectively discharge their duties and responsibilities;
- Track changes and indicators of changes and document cases for demonstration and reports to immediate supervisor;
- Carry out other position related duties as deemed necessary;
- Managed areas: Endegagn Wereda(Gurage Zone) Sankura Wereda(Silte Zone) , and Aloti Ulo Wereda (Alaba Zone)
Job Requirements

Position 4: – Cashier Accountant
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Practical experience in financial project management,
- Effect cash payment as per the approved budget by responsible bodies
- Proper handling of financial documents like cash receipt, check and other payment vouchers
- Manage petty cash, fuel and properties of the organization
- Manage incoming of the monthly bank statement/ account statement for the office
- Effect the payments for specified persons
- Follow legal procedure for cash and cash equivalent payments according organizational procedure
- Collect legal receipts for legal payment
- Effect payments for governments taxes: income taxes, pension, VAT and withholding, for inland office
- Refund and deposit to bank for un-expended balances
- Perform additional tasks as and when required by the supervisor
- Good IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel,
- Follow up the project budget utilization and able to prepare financial report,

Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum of 4(four) years relevant experience for BA in Accounting or Business management
- Two-year experience as a Project Accountant in Accounting particularly in NGO experience is advantageous and preferable.
- Demonstrated experience in working with diverse stakeholders.
- Practical experience in using accounting software is advantageous
- Willingness to travel to field on a regular basis,
- Willingness to accept assigned tasks & work on own initiative
