Korea Business Center Addis Ababa, Commercial Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Korea Business Center Addis Ababa, the commercial Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, is a regional office of KOTRA (Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency; a governmental institution of the Republic of Korea). Our key mission is to promote trade and investment between Korea and Ethiopia including Djibouti and the Seychelles.
Position: Project Assistant
Requirements:
Job Requirements
- Visa status : Ethiopian citizen or holder of working/residence permit in Ethiopia
- Education: First degree from a recognized university required
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) required
Preferred: those who submit proof of English proficiency from a certified organization like
IELTS, duolingo, TOEIC, TOEFL, etc
- Usage of Computer Programs (Excel, Doc, ppt, etc)
- Fluency in French/Korean is a plus
- At least 2 years of working experience in the following areas preferred: marketing, market intelligence & research, import & export, or business support in the public sector, project management, and other international organizations or embassies
Salary: to be determined upon employment
Salary will be paid out in ETB with the prevailing exchange rate of the date of transfer applied.
Work Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week, 5 days a week, 7:30am – 4:30 pm)
Contract Type: temporary 6 months contract (this contract is project based, and can be extended after work performance evaluation within the project’s budget range, 2 months’ probation period included)
1st day of Work: TBD (1st quarter of 2026)
Duty Location(s): Office in Bisrate Gabriel Area, Old Airport, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Open Period: Dec 17(Wed), 2025 – Dec 23(Tues), 2025
