Position: Human Resource Management Officer
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong familiarity with modern HR software, ERP systems, and standard office applications.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional interpersonal communication, commanding presence, organizational skills, and crisis management abilities.
- Languages: Native fluency in Amharic and absolute professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Staffing: Lead the talent acquisition process for the hospitality division, ensuring the recruitment of top-tier talent across all front and back-of-house units.
- Onboarding & Training: Coordinate comprehensive onboarding and ongoing mentor programs to cultivate an environment of elite hospitality service.
- Performance Management: Assist in executing the strategic human resource planning loop, aligning employee performance with company profitability and service standards.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for staff inquiries, conflict resolution, and grievance handling to ensure a productive work environment.
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, manage contracts, track leave, and ensure complete compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and corporate policies.
- Policy Implementation: Assist in updating, implementing, and monitoring standard operating procedures related to human resources across hotel operations.
