Media and Communications Center would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.

Position 1: Senior Proofreader/Copy Editor

Job Requirement

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• 2 and above years of experience as a proofreader or similar role.
• Prior experience in proofreading roles and working in media industry is advantageous.

Salary and Benefits:  As per the scale of the organization.

Duty Station:  Addis Ababa

 

Position 2: Senior Graphics Designer

Job Requirement

Qualifications required

• 2 and more years of professional design experience in Print media or related industries
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
•  Experience with Canva for social media
• Very good understanding of typography, photography, and color theory.
• Ability to cope with the daily “need it now” pace of social media.
•  Experience with motion graphics or video editing is a plus.

Deadline: March 6, 2026 for position 2
