It is registered with the Munich tax office under the tax number 143/235/72144 and was last exempted from corporation and trade tax by decision of 5th June 2024 for the promotion of tax-privileged purposes and thus recognised as a non-profit organisation. The decision is valid until 4th June 2029.
Menschen Fuer Menschen Foundation would like to invites competent, Qualified and interested candidates for the following positions.
Position 1: Junior Office Engineer
Qualifications:
Sc. In Civil Engineering
CGPA 3.5;
Fresh Graduate of 2023/24 & 2024/25 Academic year;
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Check payments submitted by the project office;
Prepare payment certificate;
Monitor progress of work according to contract agreement.
Prepare engineering estimate for new project;
Attend laboratory tests for construction materials;
Applicant must submit the following documents for evaluation:
Civil Engineering Degree from recognized University;
Student Copy;
High School Transcript;
Application Letter; and
Curriculum Vitae (CV);
Salary: Negotiable
Language: A good command of spoken & written English
Terms of Employment: Yearly renewable contract
Duty station: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Management Assistant
Qualifications: MA or MBA. (In Project Planning or Business Administration)
Work Experience: A Minimum of 3 years proven work experience as a Management Assistant or Program Assistant or similar role.
Gender: Female
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional telephone, fax and email etiquette
Excellent computer literacy (Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficient).
Language: A good command of speaking & writing Amharic, English, German or any other foreign language.
Salary: Negotiable
Terms of Employment: Yearly renewable contract
Duty stations: Program Coordination Office, Addis Ababa
Position 3: Senior Accountant
Qualifications: MA in Accounting and Finance or Related.
Work Experience: A Minimum of 8 years proven work experience in an International Humanitarian Organization as a Finance Head or Senior Accountant or similar role. Having additional experience in IPSAS, as well as familiarity with ERP systems, is preferred.
Skills:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Language: An excellent command of English
Salary: Negotiable
Terms of Employment: Yearly renewable contract based on performance
Duty station: Program Coordination Office, Addis Ababa
