MeQrez Health Services is a share company incorporated in October 2020 with the aim of strengthening the health sector of Ethiopia. Its primary focus is to have companies in the health sector to help alleviate the health burden of the country with projects such as General Hospital, Chain of Pharmacies, Imaging & Diagnosis Center, Import and Export of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Consumables. MeQrez at its first phase, have pledged to bring smiles on the faces of ailing customers by providing highest customer care with affordable-cost and high-quality medication in Ethiopia by Ethiopians.

Position 1: Nursing Service Coordinator

Major Responsibilities of this role:

  • Supervises and coordinates the proper delivery of patient care by the nursing staff.
  • Provides ongoing advice and consultation to the nursing staff about proper procedures, problem solving and patient safety as well as evaluating the quality and appropriateness of nursing care and documentation of care provided.
  • Facilitates the team approach by recognizing each nurse as an important part of the MHSSC care team, serving as a liaison for the nursing staff by conducting appropriate meetings to communicate policy and planning decisions, operational requirements and related matters.
  • Assists in preparation of budgetary recommendations of medical supplies.
  • Helps to assure excellent patient care for MHSSC patients by determining nursing staff strengths and weaknesses by performing periodic audits of nursing procedures and analyzing the data.
  • Promotes quality patient care by overseeing that necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Provides quality patient care by observing, monitoring, assessing, reporting and recording patient concerns, conditions and responses.
  • Coordinates and assists in the delivery of a plan of health care with all members of the health team.
  • Collaborates with Human Resources and Nursing Service Department in regards to employees’ absence, leaves, and disciplinary issues and so on.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing/PH/HO.
  • 3 – 5 years demonstrated work experience on the role.
  • Strong verbal & written communication.
  • Proficiency in problem solving and strong active listening.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Position 2: Procurement Officer

Major Responsibilities of this role:

  • Develop efficient sourcing strategies and collect price quotations (pro-forma).
  • Perform all phases of sourcing activity to ensure best value and within required lead times for a variety of requirements.
  • Coordinate issuance of purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform buying duties when necessary.
  • Ensure the timely and documented delivery of any goods or services.
  • Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.

Required Number: 1

Term of Employment: Permanent up on satisfactory completion of the probationary period.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • BSc Degree in Nursing 2 year work experience.
  • Competent in using medical devices & equipment

Position 3: – Cashier

Major Responsibilities of this role:

  • Manage prompt transactions with customers using cash registers.
  • Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints.
  • Maintains and safeguards cash and checks (if any).
  • Prepares daily cash balances.
  • Issues official receipts for all collections.
  • Deposits daily cash collections intact into the bank the next working day.
  • Records daily cash collections and payments and balances daily with cash on hand.

Required Number: 2

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Basic skills in using cash register machine.
  • Basic Accounting skills
  • Basic knowledge in customers Management
  • Good communication

Position 4: – Receptionist

Major Responsibilities of this role:

  • Greet Hospital clients, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
  • Schedule appointments, maintain, and update appointment calendars.
  • Transmit and receive information or documents to/from customers via telephone, mail, or other company communication media.
  • Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary.
  • Hear and resolve complaints from customers.
  • File and maintain records.
  • Provide information about location of departments or offices, employees within the Hospital.
  • Analyze and update data to determine answers to questions from customers regarding to service types, schedules, availability of specialists, and the like.

Required Number: 1

Term of Employment: Permanent up on satisfactory completion of the probationary period.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • BA Degree or Diploma Hospitality Management, Sales & Marketing with at least two years demonstrated work experience preferably in hospitality industry.
  • High emotional & mental strength.
  • Best observant & customer care.
  • Willingness to take multi tasks & additional responsibilities.
  • Best Interpersonal and communication skills with bilingual preference.

Position 5: Call Center Representative

Major Responsibilities of this role:

  • Confer with large volume of customers by telephone to provide information about services of the Hospital, take or enter orders, or obtain details of complaints.
  • Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain and update appointment calendars.
  • Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results or any planned adjustments.
  • Follow communication scripts and use knowledge of the company’s services to go off-script when necessary.
  • Identify customer needs, research issues, resolve complaints, and provide instant solutions.
  • Build positive relationships by going above and beyond with customer service, ensuring that all questions, cancellations, appointments and confirmations are handled appropriately.
  • Maintain ownership of calls throughout the lifecycle of a caller’s request, including follow-ups with escalation team.
  • Recommend improvements for systems and processes to boost organizational efficiency.
  • Perform clerical duties such as typing, proofreading, and sorting mails.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in communications and/or marketing from a renowned institution.
  • Experience working in a call center or customer-support role.
  • Strong active-listening and verbal-communication skills.
  • Proficiency in problem solving.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Expertise in conflict resolution.
  • Previous experience in a hospital setup.
  • Previous experience in customer service roles.
  • Have computer skills.
  • Experience in customer sales.
