Position 1: Project Officer
Job Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in private sector and community are strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Livestock, crop and NRM other related field,
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in working with other agencies in field level.
Success Factors
- Fluent in English, and capable Somali language is strong benefit.
- Great problem-solving skills, unafraid to ask questions, and results motivated.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and networking skills with a wide range of actors across geographical areas
- Computer literate especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to foster solid working relationships with Government, beneficiary communities, and partner organizations.

Position 2: Mentoring Evaluation and Learning Officer
Job Requirements
Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences, statistics, monitoring and evaluation, or related field is required or demonstrated equivalent work experience in the field.
- At least three years work experience in implementing practical monitoring and evaluation, knowledge management or database management in pastoral and agro-pastoral systems of Ethiopia;
- Demonstrated experience in monitoring routine data collection, data analysis and reporting against indicators at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in quantitative and qualitative survey implementation and support.
- Demonstrated skills in analyzing data, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Experience in the region is required; previous experience in arid and semi-arid parts of Ethiopia is preferred;

Position 3: Community Accountability Reporting Mechanism(CARM) officer
Job Requirements
Knowledge and Experience:
- BA/S or equivalent, preferable in social sciences including sociology, law, business administration, economics or international development.
- At least 2 years of related work experience, preferably with an international or local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with previous experience on similar post.
- Experience and/or training in handling sensitive information – Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS) training is an advantage, including Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) and Child Protection knowledge and capacities.
- Proven experience in data collection, data-entry, data/information management and analysis.
- At least 2 years of experience in maintaining feedback mechanisms.
- Excellent Computer skills: proficiency in MS Office package, and some knowledge of database management would be an asset

Position 4: Livestock Service Specialist
Job Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum BSC in veterinary science, Livestock Management/animal science or a related discipline.
- Three years of relevant experience in animal production and health, transboundary animal or zoonotic diseases, One Health, pastoralism, livestock value chains, marketing & trade.
- Sound experience in livestock production/husbandry practices in rural or Agro pastoral communities.
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of partners, the private sector, government and civil society.
- Proven quantitative skills, including familiarity with livestock extension activities in Dollo Ado & Dollo Bay
- Good understanding on the Markets4Poor approach and Markets development facilitation including coaching, relationship building, communicating, entrepreneurialism/business understanding and innovation.
- Knowledge of participatory analyses including community-based participatory action planning and results processing.

Position 5: Agronomy Specialist
Job Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in the areas of plant science, Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, Agribusiness, and other related subjects.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in private sector and/or NGOs working focused on MSD (Facilitation and providing technical supports), agribusiness and/or financial services.
- Good understanding on the Markets4Poor approach and Markets development facilitation including coaching, relationship building, communicating, entrepreneurialism/business understanding and innovating.
- Experiences in supporting privet sector lead business enterprises in pastoral/ agro-pastoral settings, providing business development supports, industries (public and private), institutions and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of participatory analyses, action and results processing.
- Experience/exposures to the location/region he/she applied for.
- Knowledge of Sphere standards and other training in humanitarian response preferred.
- Knowing one of the local languages

Position 6: Driver
Job Requirements
Knowledge and Experience:
- 3rd Grade or above Valid Driving License.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Driver preferably in an International NGO.
- Experience in repairing Vehicles (Auto bag round) is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate in both Somali & English languages and knowledge Dollo area is preferred.
- Knowledge of routes, duty stations, project areas, the NGO and diplomatic community is required.
Success Factors:
- Willing to work in remote area and able to work in team.
- Motivated and committed.
- Flexible and willing to work under pressure, outside normal office hours and during weekends.
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and appropriate flexibility.
- Emotional maturity and physical stamina.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse group of people
- Good Time Management Skill, Attendance.
