Position 1: – Midwifery Nurse
Job Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Diploma or BSC in midwifery and Minimum four years work experience in NGOs environment as MHNT out of which two years is in clinical setups.
- Knowledge, training and experience on safe motherhood practices, family planning, IMNCI/ICCM
- Demonstrated skills in program planning, implementation and monitoring.
- Demonstrated skills in peer group training and counseling
- Strong computer (Microsoft skills), and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good command in written and spoken English and Local language is a must
- Good human relation skills.
- Willingness to work under pressure and extra hours
Workplace: Wadera woredas of Guji Zone, Seba Boru woredas of Guji Zone, Gumi Eldelo Woreda of East Borena Zone, Oromia
Position 2: – Health officer
Job Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- BSC in Public health or Nursing, with Minimum four years working experience in NGOs environment as MHNT out of which two years in clinical setup.
- Solid technical skill on case management of childhood and adult illness, safe motherhood
- Knowledge and experience in management of medical complications of severely malnourished children and IMNCI/ICCM.
- Demonstrated skills in program planning, implementation and monitoring.
- Ability to lead mobile teams and able to create good team sprit among the group.
- Strong computer (Microsoft skills), and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good command in written and spoken English and Local language.
- Good human relation skills.
- Willingness to work under pressure and extra hours
Success Factors:
- Willingness and capacity to be flexible and accommodating when faced with difficult and frustrating working conditions like long distance
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in closely working with regional, Zonal and Woreda Health
- Ability to prepare program reports Knowledge in local language;
- Communication skill, good human relations
- Firm belief in teamwork, gender equality
Workplace: Wadera woredas of Guji Zone, Oromia
Position 3: Counselor
Job Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- BSC in Psychiatry, Psychology, sociology, Public health or Nursing, and related fields with Minimum five years working experience in NGOs environment as MHNT out of which three years in Mental Health Counseling.
- Solid technical skill on mental health and psychosocial support and on how to reduce the impact of mental distress in an individual or families.
- Knowledge and experience on mental health and psychosocial support
- Demonstrated skills in delivering training/ orientation other teams on MHPSS
- Ability to work in the community and able to face challenges.
- Strong computer (search Microsoft skills), and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good command in written and spoken English and Local language (Afaan Oromo is mandatory).
- Good human relation skills.
- Willingness to work under pressure and extra hours.
Success Factors:
- Willingness and capacity to be flexible and accommodating when faced with difficult and frustrating working conditions like long distance.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in closely working with regional, Zonal and Woreda Health line bureaus.
- Ability to prepare program reports.
- Communication skill, good human relations
Workplace: Wadera woredas of Guji Zone, Seba Boru woredas of Guji Zone, Gumi Eldelo Woreda of East Borena Zone, Oromia
Position 4: Clinical Nurse
Job Requirements
Knowledge and Experience:
- Diploma or BSC in nursing or public health and Minimum four years work experience in NGOs environment as MHNT out of which two years is in clinical setups.
Success Factors:
- Ability and willingness to frequently travel to villages and willingness to reside in rural areas
- Willingness and capacity to be flexible and accommodating when faced with difficult and frustrating working conditions like long distance walking to distribution sites
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in closely working with regional and Woreda Health Office ,health centres and health posts
- Communication skill, good human relations
- Firm belief in teamwork, gender equality
Workplace: Wadera woredas of Guji Zone, Oromia
