Position: Senior Accountant
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or a closely related field from a recognized college or university.
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant professional accounting experience.
- Practical experience in financial recording, posting, reconciliation, and financial reporting is required.
- Experience in cost accounting and/or a manufacturing/factory environment is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Peachtree Accounting Software, Microsoft Excel, and computer applications.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliation, financial reporting, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, professional ethics, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Record and post financial transactions accurately and on time.
- Prepare and review journal entries and supporting financial documents.
- Perform bank, cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and accounting schedules.
- Maintain accurate general ledger and subsidiary account records.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, advances, and other financial balances.
- Support inventory accounting and reconciliation.
- Review cost variances and provide financial information to management.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
- Use Peachtree Accounting Software for financial recording, posting, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and applicable accounting requirements.
