Since its establishment, the Board has organized various branch offices at both federal and regional levels, including the two administrative cities. To date, NEBE has conducted five national elections, two local elections, and six referendums.
In January 2019, as part of the reform efforts to strengthen NEBE, the House of Peoples’ Representatives enacted a new proclamation that restructured the management board, reducing it to five full-time members serving a six-year term. According to Proclamation No. 1133/2019, the Board is entrusted with the following powers and duties.
National Election Board of Ethiopia would like to invites competent, Qualified and interested candidates for the following positions.
Position 1: Junior Graphics Design Expert I
Education and Work Experience:
MA degree or BA in Computer science, information technology, media or any other related fields.
0 years for Masters or 3 years for BA.
Graphic Design
Mandatory Training:
Knowledge
Knowledge of layout, colour
Knowledge of typography/ Colour
Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other relevant tools.
Know-How (Skills) (Technical competencies):
Creativity
Artistic character
Interpersonal communication skills
Attention to detail and Accuracy
Not a member of a political party.

Position 2: Junior Audio Visual and Media Documentation Expert II
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or Masters in Media Production, Communications, Information Management, or a related field.
2 years for Masters or 4 years for BA
Required Skills
Proven experience in media documentation and digital asset management.
Familiarity with audio-visual editing tools and software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in file management and metadata entry.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
Knowledge of digital media storage solutions and best practices.

Position 3: Election Operations Planning Expert
Education and Work Experience:
Masters or BA degree in Management, Economics, Law, Project Management, Business administration or public administration and other related fields
5 years for Masters or 7 years for BA
Training
Project or program management
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of electoral processes and regional operations.
Reporting and documentation capabilities.
Managing complex payrolls.
Not a member of a political party.
Know-How (Skills) (Technical competencies):
Strong knowledge of electoral processes, procedures, and legal frameworks.
Excellent project planning and coordination skills.
Familiarity with security protocols related to elections.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Financial management skills for budget planning.
Proficiency in election-related software and tools.

Position 4: Database Administrator
Education andWork Experience:
BSC degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field.
3 years related experience.
Training
Professional Certification in any of the databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres , Mysql )
Knowledge:
Experience in data replication and designing using MSSQL/Oracle/Postgress Server systems and implementatio
Experience in Windows Server operation systems and Linux
Working Knowledge of virtualization, virtual Machines, vmware and SAN Storage.
Thorough knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)
Experience in programming in any of the following programming languages Java ,PHP, Python, Javascript, Crystal Reports, Jaspersoft
Duty station: NEBE Head Quarter, Addis Ababa
Position 5: Senior Human Resources Management Expert
Education and Work Experience:
Masters or Bachelors in HRM or Management or Business administration or Business management or public administration and development management or related field.
7 years for Masters or 8 years for Bachelor (4 years in leadership position) In HR administration or development related job positions.
Know-How (Skills) (Technical competencies):
Knowledge of people aspect of Change management methodologies, approaches and models
Human Resource concepts and application (Ethiopian Labour Law and employment related regulations, HR Policies, procedures, modern practices, approaches and trends)
Knowledge of HR metrics
Know how to perform analysis and interpretation of data
Know how to think strategically and devise long term strategies
Resource allocation skill
Ability to manage time
Relationship building and communication
