Position 1: – Enterprise Development Lead
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Map existing agribusinesses (beekeepers, pullet growers and other input suppliers, output operators and agro processors).
- Technically drives the implementation of commercial apiculture and other commodity enterprises development related activities.
- Ensure effective operational planning of business enterprise development related interventions and activities, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and communications with partners and stakeholders is in place.
- Provide TOT on enterprises development to clusters team in the hub.
- Provide technical backstopping to cluster and woreda based ORDA Ethiopia and IPs Enterprise development experts.
- Ensures the timely supply of finance and non-finance resources needed by the youth agribusiness enterprises in collaboration with governmental and other stakeholders.
- Work with commercial banks and Micro finance Institutions to facilitate youth friendly financial services.
- Ensure the establishment and strengthening of youth owned and youth led credit and saving cooperatives/associations.
- Ensure innovation and technology based approach is used to transform production, marketing and financial services.
- Ensure that all ecosystem actors are engaged to create enabling environment for the flourishing of apiculture and other commodities based agribusinesses.

Position 2: – Capacity Building Lead
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the capacity building components of the program for ensuring all capacity development interventions at grass root as well as institution level are in place effectively.
- Ensure effective operational planning of capacity building interventions and activities, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and communications with partners and stakeholders is in place.
- Facilitate the development of training materials and processes for specific areas/topics identified as needed for capacity development including training; mentoring and coaching of MAYEA program clusters’ IPs.
- Provide technical backstopping to cluster officers.
- Ensures the timely provision of capacity building services for the youth and other local government and private actors of the sector.
- Provide guidance in developing comprehensive capacity building plan and other capacity building related issues and ensure its implementation.
- Collect and apply state of the art capacity building tools and techniques for the program stakeholders both at service delivery and service recipients’ end.
- Ensure the preparation and management of the full range of field level capacity building trainings.

Position 3: – Communication Lead
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with program team members to develop and implement an effective communication strategy to the program’s target audiences.
- Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches, and other marketing material that communicates the program’s activities, approaches, and results.
- Create engaging content across a range of communications platforms, including social media, email, newsletters, articles, graphics, and videos – ensuring an effective communication means to reach the intended audience, including hard to reach groups
- Promote other alliances, events, and networks on behalf of the MAYEA program
- Develop an annual plan for communications, based around seasonal and topic needs
- Be responsible for the branding of the program- creating internal templates for team use and ensuring consistent and accurate branding.

Position 4: – Finance and Grant Lead
Duties and Responsibilities
FINANCE:
- Lead and coordinate financial reports and audits.
- Analyzing allocable expenses and projection of expenses on a quarter basis or depending on the donor requirements
- In collaboration with the sub national hub program director will prepare and submit cash requests and financial reports to successfully administer finance.
- Work with sub national hub program director to ensure compliance and effective and proactive fiscal management
- Ensure financial files are maintained according to ORDA Ethiopia’s, MCF’s and the government standards.
- Ensure the management of program payroll and legal deductions.
- Lead and oversee annual budget preparations which include overseeing work plan costing and the integration of work plan and donor-approved budgets.
GRANT AND PROCUREMENTS
- Assist in the design, development and implementation of sub awards, under supervision of ORDA Ethiopia Deputy Executive Director (programs) and in close coordination with Grant officer and other relevant ORDA Ethiopia staffs, to ensure compliance with donor and ORDA Ethiopia’s policies and procedures, and achievement of intended results.
- Ensuring compliance with all donor requirements and policies,
- Provide support focusing on compliance, grant and contracts management, and successful implementation of grant and contracts IPs.
- Ensure proper negotiation of final terms of conditions for grant and contract document, under direction of Sub National Hub Program Director and relevant ORDA Ethiopia senior management team and review and analyses budget estimates for availability, reasonableness, and consistency.
- Ensure the proper preparation and execution of grant and contract documents and grant disbursements are consistent and compliant with donor and ORDA Ethiopia’s requirements, policies and best practices.
- Work closely with Sub National Hub Program Director and program team to ensure the sub-award monitoring and evaluation are conducted as required and that financial deliverables, deadlines, programmatic outputs and impact are captured and recorded in the program data bases in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure timely and accurate use of ORDA Ethiopia’s sub award management system for sub-award issuance and management.
- Ensure that sub awards are closed out with in the required time frame.
- Assist with the resolution of internal and external audit findings.
- Support the preparation of program procurement plan.
- Support in logistics and other logistics assignments that ensure goods, works and services are procured timely to facilitate program implementation and at the same time ensure value for money is in place.
- Work with ORDA Ethiopia head office procurement department to ensure vendors follow all the tendering regulations, procedures and instructions and meet ORDA Ethiopia procurement internal policies.
- Ensure that program resources are effectively managed (assets and equipment, human resources, finance).

Position 5: Apiculture Lead
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Map existing beekeepers and support them to transform into commercial apiculture business owners.
- Technically leads the implementation of apiculture related activities and results of the program.
- Ensure effective operational planning of apiculture related interventions and activities, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and communications with partners and stakeholders is in place.

- Ensure that 80% of program participants are women in apiculture enterprise and value chain
- Ensures the timely supply of beekeeping tools, bees, and honey extraction materials for youth led agribusiness organized by the support of the program.
- Lead the identifying of commercial opportunities and conduct market analysis for apiculture value chain. Map national, regional and international market channels.
- Ensure the value addition in the value chain-safety and quality of the product, branding and labeling, social, gender related and environmental norms and sustainability standards.
- Impact the value addition of youth enterprises apiculture products through quality assurance, packaging and marketing.
- Provide ToT to the IPs, government and private apiculture experts in relation to apiculture and related matters
- Ensure the strengthening of government-private apiculture extension system.

Position 6: PMEL Lead
Duties and Responsibilities
PROGRAM WIDE MONIOTIRNG, EVALUATION, REPORTING:
- Assist the sub national hub program Director with development of the PMEL Plan for the program, including indicator selection, target setting, reporting, database management, and developing PMEL and/ performance monitoring plans.
- Leads to the development of annual work plans to identify program targets for sub national hub including IPs.
- Lead role in overseeing data collection, collation, storage, analysis, and reporting, ensuring that data is of high quality and audit worthy.
- Oversee the program monitoring, evaluation and learning of performance and results, providing regular program reports to the different stakeholders of the program
- Responsible for supporting the preparation and review of program reports in collaboration with program staff.
- Manage research activities and ensure outcomes and lessons learned are integrated into the program and shared with relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare regular reports and submit to MCF and national hub.
- Provide training and mentoring to Cluster staffs to ensure the implementation of strong PMEL systems.
- Design and manage gender-disaggregated beneficiary monitoring and database systems.

- Proactively works with other program team members of the program and partners to ensure the safe and meaningful engagement of female and young people.
- Ensure ORDA Ethiopia safeguarding policy is familiarized among the program staff.
