Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union limited liability is a smallholder coffee growers owned cooperative union established on June 1, 1999, by 34 cooperatives with 22,691 farmers. Today there are 405 cooperatives with over 400 thousand Members and $20 Million Capital. OCFCU is a Democratic member’s owned business operating under the principles of International Cooperative Alliance and fair-trade.

Members of Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union are the growers, processors, and suppliers of high quality, organic Arabica coffee for the direct export.

The general objective of OCFCU is to export the farmers’ coffee by passing the auction. OCFCU promotes Fair Trade for socially and environmentally sustainable techniques and long-term relationships between producers, traders, and consumers.

Oromia Coffee Farmer’s Cooperative Union aims to help small-scale coffee farmers to take advantage of the fair-trade coffee market. OCFCU was established in order to help farmer families. OCFCU returns 70 % of its net profits back to the cooperatives, and cooperatives back to members.

Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperatives Unions would like to invites competent and qualified candidates for the following positions.

Position 1: – Coffee Roasting & Processing Division Head (ONE KOO)

Job Requirement:

Required Education: BA/BSC/MA/MSC Degree in industrial Management, Manufacturing Engineering, industrial Engineering, Agro-Processing, Mechanical Engineering, and other related fields of studies

Work Experience:  10, years out of which 3 years experience in managerial position, 8, years out of which 2 years experience in managerial position

Notice:- Hearing , speaking, reading, and writing in Afaan Oromo is mandatory

Grade: 9

Workplace: Oromia, Gelan

Position 2: – Marketing Division Head (ONE KOO)

Job Requirement:

Education: BA/MA Degree in marketing, Sales Management, Economics, Management, Business Management, Business Administration, or Equivalent qualification.

Work Experience: 10, years out of which 3(three) years experience in managerial position, 8, years out of which 2(two) years experience in managerial position

Notice:- Hearing , speaking, reading, and writing in Afaan Oromo is mandatory

Grade: 9

Work of place: Oromia, Gelan

Position 3: – Executive Secretary Ii (At General Manager Office)

Job Requirement:

Education: 10+3 or diploma in office management, BA. Degree in office management and other related fields of studies

Work Experience: Four (4) or 2 relevant work experience of position

Notice:- Hearing , speaking, reading, and writing in Afaan Oromo is mandatory

Grade: 6

Work of place: Oromia, Gelan
