Parkinson patients support organization would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.

Position 1: Admin and Finance Assistance

Key duties and responsibilities

Perform general office duties: Order and maintain office supplies, maintain administrative project files and documents, assist in fleet management, monitor and document inventory and functionality of office assets, and ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Assist with financial tasks: Prepares payments, process expense reports, reconcile invoices; ensure compliance with tax regulations and other legal requirements and assist in budget tracking and other financial management activities.

Assist Human Resource tasks: Create and maintain personnel files, recruitment files, and Annual Performance Review reports and support in other human resource management activities

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree is an added advantage

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar financial, compliance, or operational role in managing and supporting project

Position 2: Recourse Mobilization and Communication Officer

JOB SUMMERY

The Resources Mobilization and Communication Officer will be responsible for identifying and securing funding opportunities and ensuring effective communication for the organization.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Recourse Mobilization

Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure funding from various sources, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.

Develop and maintain relationships with donors and sponsors, ensuring timely reporting on the use of funds and the impact of their contributions.

Develop proposals, grant applications, and other fundraising materials to secure funding from various sources.

Monitor fundraising activities and report progress to the leadership team regularly.

Attend conferences, networking events, and other fundraising-related events to promote the organization and identify new funding opportunities.

Communication

Work to improve the visibility of the organization using different communication platforms including mainstream media and social networks (Website, Face book, LinkedIn, and twitter etc)

Plan and organize different workshops, meetings, and special events

Work with media, diverse networks, coalitions, and partners to achieve common goals

Engage with beneficiaries, stakeholders, and project staff to gather relevant information, interviews, and testimonials.

Prepare success story reports, highlighting outcomes and organization’s impact

Review and edit various project documents, including reports, proposals, and presentations.

Ensure consistency, clarity, and adherence to the branding guidelines of donors and the organization

JOB REQUIREMENT

University degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Journalism and Related Fields

Minimum of four years of relevant experience, preferably in public health projects.

Proven experience and knowledge of fundraising strategies and techniques.

Knowledge of the nonprofit sector and its funding sources in Ethiopia context

Position 3: Project Coordinator

JOB SUMMERY

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the planning, monitoring and Evaluation, and implementation of PPSO-E overall activities. He/she will be responsible in coordinating the overall project accomplishments having supervisory role for technical staff.

Key duties and responsibilities

Coordinate the development of concept notes and project proposals for strategically relevant donors.

Develop detailed work and budget plans based on approved overall plan and support for timely submission to donors.

Develop detail implementation plan for activities listed in the annual work plan in accordance with the requirements of donors.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual activity progress reports and submit to Executive Director.

Plan and conduct planning and review meetings in consultation with the Executive director.

Closely work and collaborate with non-government and government stakeholders including Ministry of Health, Addis Ababa city Administration Health Bureau, Sub city Health Offices, Health facilities, Professional Associations etc

JOB REQUIREMENT

Master’s degree in Public Health, Project Management, Sociology, and Social Work or related field.

Minimum of Four years relevant work experience, of which at least two years on public health projects, preferably in non-communicable disease as a project Coordinator.

Experience in non-government organizations is an added advantage.

Knowledge and experience of working with partner organizations, communities & government authorities.

Strong decision-making ability and ability to work independently and under pressure.

Excellent Project Management skill
