People In Need – PIN would like to invites competent and qualified candidates for the following positions.

Position 1: HR Intern (For Female Applicants Only)

Length of internship: for 6 months

Number required: 1 (one)

Duties of Human Resource intern: 

  • Maintain personnel and confidential files for active and terminated employees
  • Fill out employment and other HR forms
  • Facilitate staff medical insurance
  • Scanning, copying & archiving of all HR related documents.
  • Answer the office phone and take calls or messages
  • Assist in preparation for HR events and work the events as necessary (orientations, employee fair well, employee parties, etc.)
  • Maintain a professional image
  • Assist in other departments as needed
  • Closely working with HR Officer & other HR team to support HR related issues.
  • Any other HR related tasks as required and assigned.

 Benefit

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum BA degree in Management, Human Resource Management, Law other related social science fields of study from a recognized higher education institution
  • Only Graduates of 2014 or 2015 E.C
  • Only zero years of work experience required
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Human Resource Management
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good judgment regarding confidentiality and respect for sensitive materials
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken & written Amharic and English
  • 3 strong references (will be crosschecked/contacted.

Salary: 6,500 birr (Gross)

Workplace:  Based in Hawassa with frequent travel to different project sites 

Position 2: Finance Intern (Only for Female Applicants)

Salary: 6,500 birr (Gross)

Workplace:  Addis Ababa With frequent travel to different sites in different regions of Ethiopia

Length of internship: for 6 months

Number required: 1 (one)

 Duties of Finance Intern:

  • Preparing of cash payment voucher, Invoice, withholding tax payment voucher.
  • Filing and arranging of Invoice, cash and other finance related documents.
  • Make sure that each month payroll is signed by Addis Ababa staff members
  • Follow-up on cash disbursement process at cash disbursement spot.
  • Closely working with cashier & Accountant to support & to build capacity in managing finance related issues.
  • Scanning & archiving of all finance related documents.
  • Any other finance related tasks as required and assigned.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and Accounting fields from a recognized higher education institution.
  • Female with zero years of work experience required.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and knowledge of Accounting.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Computer friendly (Word, excel, power point, outlook etc)
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken & written Amharic and English
  • 3 strong references (will be crosschecked/contacted.
