Ranger Industry and Trading would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position: Junior Accountant
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.
- Prior internship or entry-level accounting experience is a plus.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Head Office Duties
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
- Prepare and process payments, invoices, and employee expense reports.
- Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, etc.).
- Assist with bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure timely filing and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Maintain and update accounting systems and ensure data accuracy.
Site Accounting & Support Duties
- Handle cash and payment transactions at project sites and maintain proper records.
- Collect and verify purchase and expense documents from site operations.
- Reconcile site cash balances and prepare weekly site financial reports.
- Follow up on procurement and logistics activities related to financial payments.
- Ensure timely submission of receipts, vouchers, and supporting documents to the head office.
- Work closely with site coordinators and operations teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Monitor material and fuel usage records and report discrepancies to finance and management.
- Support site payroll and labor cost reporting.
- Performs such other related duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
