Position 1: Zonal TB Coordinator for TB Project from Expertise France
Major and Overall Duties and Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of Zonal community-based TB case finding, contact investigation, screening, TB treatment adherence; TPT
- Develops and schedules project work plan in accordance with specifications given to him/her;
- Oversees daily operations and coordinates activities of project; determines priorities;
- Reviewing the plans regularly to ensure tasks and milestones are being achieved in a timely manner and preparation of project status reports, managing presentations at the Regional/Zonal /Woreda level, designing agendas whenever the need arises to do so, etc.
- Take an active part in the project issue/risk management process, by contributing to the identification and prioritization of existing and potential issues and risks, and helping to develop local-level strategies and controls to mitigate these;
- Provide skilled facilitation support to the lower-level project teams so that the project achieves its predetermined goals and expectations;
- Employ effective organizational and administrative processes, together with their knowledge and/or experience of project management practices, to facilitate the successful achievement of the project objectives;
- Build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of people and sectors in the Zone in addition to own team;
- Help build lower level team’s project management capability by collaborating with other staff, coaching and mentoring others and generally encouraging the appropriate use of project management techniques;
- Manage communications through media relations, social media etc;
- Help build positive relations within the team and external parties;
- Keep all members of the team up-to-date with relevant project information;
- Frequently communicate with team members to ensure maximum efficiency;
- Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda;
- Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.) when appropriate;
- Create presentations, summaries and helping materials to ensure better communication and understanding of the project;
- Monitors and supervises the activities of Zonal & Woreda TB Coordinators, Civil Societies Organizations and volunteers/associations;
- Be attentive on changing needs of targets and keep adjusting schedules as appropriate;
- Complies with policies and procedures governing the project and ensures that the project is operating at maximum efficiency;
- Prepares reports regarding project operations;
- Trains Woreda TB Coordinators, HEWs, and volunteers to ensure proper operation of the project;
- Provide technical support on listing out all index cases from Unit TB register for retrospective contact investigation;
- Coordinate active contact investigation along with Woreda TB Coordinators, TB focal persons, and health extension workers (HEWs) to demonstrate how to conduct a household contact investigation
- Support mapping of key population groups in the selected woredas for focused CTBC activities
- Develop and distribute referral slips and SOPs to Woreda, HFs, and HP level
- Monitor the implementation of TPT initiation and completion for ages under 15 children and PLWHA
- Interacts with members of the community to help achieve project goals and objectives;
- Brings to the network expertise, experience, information, and commitment to facilitate an integrated approach to TB prevention and control in the region;
- Report to the project manager on the progress of the Expertise France activities within the given timeframe;
- Support and promote actions that address the vulnerability to TB and related challenges that contribute to the spread of TB;
- Make workable plans to cope with prevailing situations.
Knowledge management
- Identifies areas for crosscutting collaboration with ZHD and relevant partners;
- Enhances and anchors the in-depth knowledge of TB technical areas in the technical team (both own and partners team);
- Actively shares knowledge with the Zonal TB control program;
- Maintain personal in-depth knowledge of TB control areas and be able to understand as well as manage a frequently changing development related to TB.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Master’s Degree in public health or equivalent, a minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in TB control of which 2 years is a senior advisory/ supervisory / coordination role;
- Bachelor’s Degree in public health, a minimum of 8 years relevant experience in TB control of which 6 years is an advisory/supervisory/coordination role;
- Proven experience in health program management of at least 6 years.
- Previous experience in Community TB program, specifically working with HEP and volunteers ;
- Proven experience in stakeholder capacity-building skill: facilitation, presentation, communication, and monitoring impact of capacity-building interventions
- Proven experience having team spirit
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Amharic, and at least one local language of the region;
- Experience in capacity building and utilizing participatory learning methodologies;
- Past experience with NGOs recommended;
- Willingness to locate in Zone 3 Afar region with frequent travel to Woredas.

Position 2: District TB Officer (DTO) for TB Project from Expertise France
Major and overall Duties and Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinates, liaises, and works very closely with Afar Region Health Bureau diseases prevention and health promotion unit/ TB/TB/HIV focal and Zone 3 Health office to ensure effective implementation of the project components mainly KAP, CBTC, and Health facility TB program
- Supports alignment of the project activities to the Health Bureau’s plan, in line with RHB’s TB priorities and directions;
- Develops and schedule project work plan for Zone 3 Afar Region in accordance with specifications are given to him/her;
- Helps build team’s project management capability under his/her supervision/contacts, collaborating with Zonal TB coordinator: coaching, mentoring & motivating, using appropriate project management techniques; private/public health facility TB focal persons, TOOs, UHEPs, FHT, and volunteers to ensure proper operation of the project;
- Supports overall coordination and implementation of comprehensive TB (DS and DR-TB) case finding, treatment and outcome, CTBC, contact screening, adherence; TPT in Public Health facilities including Hospitals;
- Supports Zonal TB coordinator on daily operations and coordination of activities of the project; and determination of priorities;
- Supports reviewing project plan regularly to ensure tasks and milestones are being achieved in a timely manner and preparation of project status reports (mainly on KAP and CBTC); presentations at Facility/and regional level, design agendas whenever the need arises;

- Bachelor’s Degree in public health, a minimum of 8 years relevant experience in TB control; candidates with MPH are a plus.
- Proven experience in health program management.
- Previous experience in TB programming, specifically working with PPM, KAPs, TFC, FHT, UHEP, and CSOs;
- Local TB program Knowledge
- Evidence of having training certificates on TB, TB/HIV/DR-TB is essential;

Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and develop data collection tools
- Customize data collection and management tools for the utilization of decision-makers.
- Facilitate login access for the data system of the REACH Ethiopia team based on their level of management.
- Continuous bug clearing and data system update
- Data cleaning and dashboard development
- Design data questions avoiding ambiguity and develop supporting definition documents for reference
- Train data collectors and data managers on the developed tools and data management portal
- Ensure timely and proper data collection
- Develop data validation mechanisms
- Organize and process data for firsthand analysis

Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing Node.js backend services and responsive user interface components using React components.
- Develop a software that enables real-time result reporting directly from machines to user, and that also enables data reporting, analysis, visualization and connectivity of remote devices to the central server through SMS and Internet connection.
- Ensure integration and functionality of the real time connectivity platform.
- Monitor the optimal real-time connectivity of TB laboratory instruments to report patient and aggregate data
- Conduct software updates.

Position 6: Project Manager – IDDS Project
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the NTRL/NTP to Strengthen the TB diagnostic Network functioning.
- Support the NTP/NTRL to build capacity of TB laboratories in Laboratory Quality Management System.
- Support the NTP/NTRL to Scale up and improve use of LabXpert connectivity solution for the Gene Xpert and TrueNAT machines.
- Support the national and regional implementation of LabXpert connectivity solution to strengthen the Laboratory Information Management System (LMIS):
- Coordinates the planning, implementation, and continuous monitoring of all technical areas and technical activities of the project
- Facilitate the installation of LabXpert to GeneXpert and TrueNAT Machines
- Support national and regional level LabXpert Connectivity training
- Provide technical support to LabXpert connectivity maintenance service.
- Support NTRL in the monitoring of the LabXpert dashboard, export the data, analyze and use the information for decision making.
- Monitor the weekly active and inactive sites identification and contact the inactive sites for connection or technical support.
- Provides technical assistance on rapid molecular TB diagnostic service in USAID TB projects
- Represent the project at national/regional forums and TB laboratory taskforce
