Safaricom Ethiopia would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position 1: DevOps Engineer
Professional qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Kubernetes.
More than 3+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role.
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
Strong experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, and related CI/CD tools.
Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault and Kubernetes management tools like Headlamp.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
Position 2: OSP Expert
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science/IT, or a related field.
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination, Project control, or a related role, preferably in telecom’s. In engineering or similar industries
· Excellent negotiation and communication skills
· Ability to work independently and manage and under pressure.
. Excellent MS Office skills especially on Excel, Word, and Power Point.
· Familiarity with procurement processes, PRs, and BOQ verification
· Familiarity with the telecom industry specifically in a Mobile/Fiber Service Provider or Operator.
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
Position 3: Executive Head of Department -Trade Marketing
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• Degree in a Business related field
• Post graduate certification in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage
• Intermediate knowledge of business finance principles is essential.
• 8 years hands on experience in a Sales Distribution management in a FMCG or service sector of which 2
years must have been in a sales managerial position, preferably in a fast moving consumer goods company
• Highly results and performance oriented
• Attracting & developing talent
• Building & maintaining relationships
• Excellent team player with good
