Position 1: WASH Officer
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Essentials:
- B.Sc. Degree in Water Engineering, Hydraulic, Water Resources, Water Supply and sanitation Civil engineering and other related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven and progressive work experience, preferably in NGOs.
- Proficient in computer skills (MS word, Excel, Power Point, Auto Cad & Water Cad)
- Fluency in English and Afan Oromo language both spoken and written.
Skills and Abilities;
- Familiarity with the culture.
- Ability to work in stressful conditions, and limited movements.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly results oriented work culture.
- Knowledge, skill and experience in participatory methods for promoting ownership.
- Team player who is able to work collaboratively and with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Politically and culturally sensitive with qualities of patience, tact and diplomacy.
- Commitment to the aims and principles of SC including willingness to abide and enforce the Child Safeguarding Policy. In particular, a good understanding of the SC mandate and child focus and an ability to ensure this continues to underpin our support

Position 2: IYCF-E Officer
Job Requirements
Minimum qualification and experience:
- BSC/Diploma in Nursing or Public Health (Senior Clinical/Public Nurse or above).
- Minimum two years working experience for Degree and four years’ experience for Diploma holders out of which two year experience directly related to emergency health & nutrition related fields Knowledge, training and experience in IYCF and community mobilization/BCC
- Demonstrated skills in program planning, implementation and monitoring.
- Demonstrated skills in peer group training, Training of Trainers and development of training materials.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Local language.
- Strong computer (Microsoft skills), all and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Position 3: TSFP Officer
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualification And Experience:
- BSC in Nursing, Public Health or other related fields
- 2 years working experience with NGOs out of which two year in OTP/TFU/TSFP settings.
Skills/Ability required:
- Knowledge, training and experience in management of MAM and SAM with/without medical complication
- Demonstrated skills in program planning, implementation and monitoring.
- Demonstrated skills in peer group training, Training of Trainers and development of training materials.
- Strong computer (Microsoft skills), and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good command in written and spoken English and Local language.
- Good human relation skills.
- Respect of Save the Children rules by anyone visiting the program;
- Willingness to work under pressure and extra hours

Position 4: Gender Officer
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- A minimum of Bachelor Degree in Gender/psychology studies, sociology, social work, Development studies, law and other related social science fields
- At least 5 years direct experience in gender and women empowerment area
- Having knowledge & exposure to a range of gender mainstreaming & gender development issues
- Ability to evaluate and integrate gender equality strategic objectives into broader program strategies
- Project management skills, technical capacity on training, Advocacy, networking & partnership, communications skills, interpersonal skills, facilitator skills,,
- Excellent understanding of the culture and ways of living of target communities.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and excellent awareness about communities, government structure and etc.
- Good report writing skill; able to collect document and share records and information.
- Ability and willingness to travel and work in rural Kebeles where the program is implemented, within approved security frameworks.
- Basic computer skills and mobile literacy are desirable.
- Experiences of working in NGOs; and communities at grass root level are advantageous
- Experiences in volunteering, community service and passion for development work are advantageous.
Desirable:
- Skills in designing and implementing gender integration policy and strategy at different institutional level
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills;

Position 5: MEAL Officer
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in the field Social Sciences (Statistics or monitoring and evaluation, Sociology, , Social Work, Social Anthropology) , Community development or equivalent
- Master Degree in the field of Statistics or monitoring and evaluation with public health background.
- 4 years’ relevant experience in an NGO environment preferably working on livelihood program.
- Computer literacy in all the Microsoft office applications, and internet literacy are required
- Proven ability to analyse data and write reports that are of high quality
- Computer literate with working knowledge of databases and spreadsheet application
- Knowledge of statistical packages such epi info, SPSS and STATA is required
- Experience in working with multicultural team and complex projects
- Experience in developing and managing data bases, or tracking tools
- Good communication skills
- Fluency in English, writing and speaking
- Ability to work in team, strong negotiation and analytical skills; ability to multitask and work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel outside of Hawassa as necessary

Position 6: Child Protection Information Management System – Coordinator
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any other related fields
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in INGO’s and or UN Agencies in developmental or in humanitarian programs working for an international agency on management information systems development. Experience in Child Protection Information management system will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience of undertaking analysis of both qualitative and quantitative research using relevant software such as STATA or SPSS, or any other is an advantageous
Knowledge Skills and Ability:
- Good communication skills in English and local language additional advantage and interpersonal skills, with experience working in multicultural, multi – location, values driven teams.
- Proven skills and experience in system development, repair and maintenance.
- Full understanding of Excel and report creation.
- High-level technical understanding of the deployment infrastructure (i.e. servers, ip addresses, databases, local and cloud deployments).
- Preferably basic knowledge on case management and child protection programming
- Strong information management and telecommunication skills and proficiency in IT/computer skills (including sound MS Excel, Ms PowerPoint and Ms Word proficiency).
- Problem analysis, judgement, handling ambiguity and decision making based on fact and figures
- Technical expertise in various data analysis software and proven experience using mobile technology for data collection with experience of electronic data collection using tablets or other devices.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with statistical/graphical software or geo-spatial software.
- Proven experience with current technologies, such as web-based data management and analysis tools, digital data collection, mapping, Google applications, data visualization, interactive dashboards, etc.
- Experience with ICT hardware, mobile phones and web-based technologies, particularly designing or deploying tools appropriate to limited-bandwidth or sub-standard infrastructure environments.
- Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children International’s aims, values and principles. Desirable
- Good analysis and report writing skills
- Experience working in arid and semi-arid land (ASAL) settings, refugee operations preferred.
- Experience in open source, mobile and emerging technology is extremely desirable.
- Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Experience in producing clear and simple reports, including charts & graphs, for end-users
- Experience of training and capacity building
- Some experience of representation and ability to represent the CPIMS users effectively in external forums.
