Position 1: Alliance Coordinator
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in an area of public health, social science or equivalent
- Recommended a minimum of 4 years’ experience in an NGO environment, preferably with experience in coordination and integration with stakeholders like government, community based child wellbeing/SRH project coordination experience and experience of participating coordination meetings
- Knowledge and understanding of national Child wellbeing systems, and technical knowledge on child wellbeing monitoring and evaluation
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching
- Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Good knowledge of the regional context of assignment and prior experience in working with pastoralist communities
- Strong results orientation and ability to work under pressure
- Experience of successfully implementing changes to processes to improve and monitor quality standards and impact achieved
- Experience of facilitating and shaping programmes to deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness, s
- Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy in
- Fluency in local regional and Amharic language required,
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written, required

Position 2: MEAL Officer
Qualifications and Experience:
- BSc/BA degree in an area of statistics, economics, health, social development or equivalent.
- Minimum of Five years of experience in a MEAL role in both emergency and development contexts, preferably with solid experience in more than one of the following priority sectors: education, protection, rights governance, HIV/AIDs, health and nutrition, and emergencies
- Ability to write clear and effective assessment and project reports
- Direct experience of implementing and managing MEAL function and of working on all aspects of MEAL activities
- Skills on developing MEAL tools and use of statistical packages
- Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy in
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability and willingness to travel to field sites and work in remote locations, often for prolonged periods of time
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching
- Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Strong results orientation, with the ability to challenge existing mindsets
- Ability to present complex information in a succinct and compelling manner
- Ability and willingness to dramatically change work practices and hours, and work with incoming surge teams, in the event of emergencies

Position 3: Procurement Officer
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree /bachelor
- University degree in logistics and supply chain management or other relevant field of study
- At least 3 years of experience working in supplies and service procurement, logistics co-ordination and Administrative support functions.
- NGO’s experience is required
- Good interpersonal skills,
- Good written and spoken English
- Knowledge of computer word processing, access and excel
- Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children’s aims, values and principles.
- Knowledge of key institutional donors and their compliance requirements in respect of logistics and procurement
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching.

- Ability and willingness to change work practices and hours in the event of major emergencies including travelling at short notice and for extended periods of time
- A high level of computer literacy (word, excel, ppt etc)

Position 4: Infrastructure Coordinator
Qualifications and Experience:
1. BSc. or MSc. with 4 years for degree holder and 2 years for B.Sc. in construction engineering /Civil Engineering or related technical field
2. Should have experience on design and/or construction supervision of projects,
3. Be able to communicate orally and using written reports,
4. Be able to prepare good reports in English,
5. Be able to work outside working hours on site if the contractor is on duty, and
6. Professional license is an added advantage.

Position 5: HR and Safeguarding Coordinator
Required Qualifications:
Essential:
- Educated to degree level in HRM, Management and Business/Public Administration or related subject area.
- Strong familiarity with regions specific laws, excellent knowledge of local labor law and regulations governing human resources.
- Knowledge and ability to communicate SCI policies and enforce decisions within their authority.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality as it relates to Human Resources.
- Proficient to use MS Offices and experience of Oracle HR database management system will be an asset.
- A commitment to children’s rights and principles of equal opportunity
Desirable
- NGOs Experience working in a complex multi-culture working contexts in any one of the Support Services Areas
- Experience of managing a large budget and an understanding of grant and finance management.
Experience and Skills:
- A minimum of 4 years’ direct experience in HR and Administration works
- Strong problem-solving, conflict management and decision-making skills that ensure successful human resources management.
- Time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly in an organized manner.
- Strong written communication skills to maintain large amounts of data and excellent reporting
- Emotional intelligence and the ability to counsel, motivate, and guide employees and managers of other departments to accomplish an organization’s goals and objectives.
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a large team with excellent interpersonal and representational skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English language/communication skills.
- Who has great belief in diversity and team work

- Ability and willingness to change work practices and hours in the event of major emergencies including travelling at short notice and for extended periods of time
- Highly organized with good administration skills for order and information management, able to develop filing systems and databases to ensure an auditable environment.
