Position: Upcountry Sales Supervisor
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gather up-to-date information of production and stock in the different stocks.
- Communicate with existing agents to increase or maintain levels of the business activity.
- Presenting and selling company products and services to new and existing agents.
- Identifying sales opportunities and presenting benefits and key features of products effectively to acquire new business.
- Searching proactively for new revenue generating opportunities to meet the company targets and follow up on market gaps.
- Identifying sales prospects and contacts and other agents as assigned.
- Generate mechanisms of exceeding market penetration.
- Check the availability and visibility of products on the market.
- Adhering to the company external or internal customer care policies and procedures.
- Gather service feedback; follow up on complaints and service recovery.
- Assess market demand and sales as well as gaps on service delivery.
- Follow up and supervise the execution of appropriate sales route of agents.
- Check availability of products in agents’ store, handling of products, product mix, branding of cars, and staffs’ presentation.
- Attend daily briefings and periodic meetings with supervisor and managers.
- Prepare daily and weekly sales report.
- Maintaining positive work relationship with agents and staff.
- Perform other activities assigned by immediate supervisor and managers.

Job Requirements
Competencies /Knowledge, Ability and Skill:
- Ability to negotiate complex sales at senior levels
- Excellent motivational and persuasive skills
- Sound product / service and industry knowledge.
- Budgetary formulation and control abilities.
- Excellent planning and administrative abilities
- Experience managing a high performance sales team
- An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Availability to travel as needed.
Required educational background & work experience:
MA Degree in Marketing/Business Management/Administration or equivalent and 5 years related work experience or College/ Diploma in and 8 years related work experience in the area.
