SVO is looking for a visionary, creative, and dedicated young IT Assistant who will work under the supervision of the IT Specialist. Both the IT Specialist and the IT Assistant work together to support the organization’s technology management, digital marketing, and global communication systems.
SVO NGO would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position: IT Assistant
Experience: Fresh Graduates [Classes of 2024 (2016 E.C) and 2025 (2017 E.C) ]
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, ICT, or a related field.
· Cumulative GPA of 3.4 or above (required).
· Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken). Knowledge of two or more Ethiopian languages is an added advantage.
· Familiarity with digital communication tools (social media, email marketing, website management, etc.).
· Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, teamwork, and learning.
· Willingness to work beyond regular hours when needed and to travel to project or field offices.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Passionate about using technology for social good, innovation, and the empowerment of vulnerable groups.
GPA Requirement: Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.40 and above
Salary: Negotiable
Gender: Female/Male
Place of Work: Addis Ababa, with occasional travel to project sites
