Position 1: Metal and Mineral Testing Laboratory Technician
Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of laboratory tests and analyses on metal and mineral samples using standard testing techniques and equipment.
- Prepare samples for analysis, including sample cleaning, crushing, grinding, and pulverizing as necessary.
- Conduct chemical, physical, and mineralogical analyses to determine composition, purity, and quality of metal and mineral samples.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and adherence to safety protocols.
- Record and analyze test data, prepare accurate reports, and maintain meticulous documentation of laboratory activities and findings.
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of testing projects.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies, reagents, and consumables, ensuring availability for testing activities.
- Adhere to laboratory quality control procedures, including participation in proficiency testing and maintaining laboratory accreditations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to testing methods, processes, and procedures.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Chemistry, Geology, or a related field. Relevant certifications or training in laboratory techniques and safety protocols are desirable.
- Proven experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in metal and mineral testing.
- Strong understanding of laboratory testing techniques, equipment, and procedures specific to metal and mineral analysis.
- Familiarity with industry standards and quality control procedures related to metal and mineral testing.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording and analyzing data.
- Proficient in using laboratory software and data management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Position 2: Business Development Manager – Electronic Waste Sector
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and competitors.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and partners, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their needs effectively.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize business strategies.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in the electronic waste sector.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with a strong network of contacts in the Ethiopian market.
- In-depth knowledge of the electronic waste industry.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal closures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.

Position 3: Mining Business Development Manager – Deal Closer
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with potential clients, mining companies, and industry stakeholders to establish strong business relationships.
- Understand the needs and challenges of clients in the mining sector and present tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
- Negotiate contracts, agreements, and partnerships, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Keep abreast of regulatory and policy changes affecting the mining sector and provide recommendations for strategic actions.
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance the company’s visibility and network.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development or sales, with a focus on the mining sector.
- Strong understanding of the mining industry in Ethiopia, including knowledge of key players, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Track record of successfully closing deals and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify business opportunities and develop effective strategies.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, mining engineering, geology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
