Position: Finance Assistant
Qualification:
Diploma /BA degree in accounting from recognized college or university
Experience:
2 years for diploma
0 years for degree
Skill/Special Training:
Basic Computer skills and Peachtree
Major dunties and responsibilities
Handling and controlling Petty cash and cash on hand
Managing Warehouse/Keeping small store properly
Prepare petty cash replantation and establishment
Allocates account numbers on cheques, CPV’s and CRV:’s line
Record and post the transaction according to the budget line and as organizationchart of account
Check the recusation expenditures are justifies, properly made and charged to appropriate accounts
Records transaction daily appropriate prime registers and totals same at month end
Agrees petty cash analysis sheet total with petty cash report and request from
Check’s collection of receivables against document and statements of outstanding.
Post’s receivable & payable accounts on subsidiary ledger on daily basis
Prepare documentation of Income tax, Pension contribution and withholding tax properly as of country law
Pay any approved payments
Work Place: Addis Ababa
