More specifically, UNDP supports partner countries in developing policies, leadership skills, partnering abilities, institutional capabilities and building resilience to sustain development results.
UNDP has operated in Ethiopia since 1981. Since then, UNDP has focused on providing Ethiopia with strategic support to build national capacity and enhance the country’s development results in the areas of poverty reduction and economic growth, democratic governance as well as climate-resilient development.
UNDP would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position 1: Intern – Protocol And Logistics
Education:
Applicants must be enrolled (or have recently graduated from) a postgraduate degree programme (such as a master’s programme, or higher) OR have recently graduated with a first-level university degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, International Relations, or related field and must start the internship within one year of graduation.
Experience:
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Availability to work full-time for six consecutive months.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to adapt messages to various audiences.
Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
Ability to perform under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Language:
Fluency in spoken and written English and Amharic.
Place of Work: Addis Ababa – Ethiopia
Deadline: June 24, 2025
