JOB TITLE: Shipping Clerk/Expediter
Payment or Salary: USD $8,412
Qualifications and Evaluations
WORKING EXPERIENCE:-
A minimum of 2 (two) years of clerical experience in shipping and transportation in a large organization or Embassy environment is required.
EDUCATION BACKGROUND:-
Completion of Secondary School (High School) is required.
Evaluations:
Language profession: Level 4 (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing Amharic is required. (This may be tested)
Level 3 (Good working knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required. (This may be tested)
Skills and Abilities:
Must have a good understanding of U.S. regulations and procedures as they apply to ships and customs.
Level 1 typing ability (25wpm) and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications are required.
Must have a valid and current Grade III Ethiopian driver’s license appropriate to operate a pick-up truck and/or van, and must have had a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 5 (five) years. (These may be tested)
