Veterinaries Sans Frontieres Germany (VSF Germany) would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.

Position 1: MEAL Officer

Job Requirement

• Required qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Agricultural Economics, Public Health, or other relevant fields.
  • Exposure to and practical skills in statistical application softwareare an advantage.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation in development or humanitarian programs.
  • Experience in data collection, field monitoring, and project evaluation.
  • Experience working in WASH, agriculture, or rural development programs is an advantage.

No. Of positions: one (1) position

Duration: Six months

Base location: Turmi South Ethiopia and Semera, Afar

 

Position 2: WASH Coordinator

Job Requirement

• Required qualification:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Water Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering (Water Resources), Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications or training in WASH programming, public health promotion, behavior change communication (IEC/BCC), emergency WASH programming, or project managementare an advantage.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experiencein WASH programming, environmental health, or water engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical leadership rolein humanitarian settings including both emergency response and development projects
  • Proven experience in design, supervision, and implementation of rural water supply and sanitation systems, including boreholes, wells, piped water networks, and solar-powered water systems.
  • Experience working in humanitarian emergency response and development projects.
  • Experience working with international NGOs and donor-funded programs is highly desirable.

Duration: Six months

Base location: Addis Ababa

 

Position 3: Program Coordinator

Job Requirement

• Required qualification:
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Veterinary/Livestock, Development Studies or a related field.
  • Additional training or certification in Project Management, Program Management, or Humanitarian Response is an advantage.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in humanitarian or development programs, preferably with international NGOs.
  • At least 4 years of experience in program coordination or senior project management roles.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-sector programs such as WASH, agriculture, livelihoods, or resilience initiatives.
  • Proven experience managing multi-regional donor-funded projects.
  • Experience working with international donors and government institutions is highly desirable.
  • Experience in proposal development, program design, and program expansion is an advantage.

Duration: Six months

Base location: Addis Ababa
