The Ethiopia office has been running child sponsorship and youth empowerment projects in the Abaya woreda of the West Guji zone since 2019.

Position 1: – Kindergarten Teacher at World Share Ethiopia Project Group Home Gwangwa (Project officer)
About the position:
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Oromiffa
- Care for children under 5 years of age
- Designing and following a complete teaching plan
- Teaching Alphabet and numeracy along with personal, social and emotional skills
- Organize learning material and resources
- Use a variety of activities and instructional methods (Song, Stories, Media, Structured games, art, out door activities etc.) to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities.
- Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information
- Assess students’ performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on regular basis
- Monitor children’s interactions and nurture cooperation and sharing cooperate with administration staff
- Follow and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations

Requirements and Skills:
- Proven working experience as a kindergarten Teacher, Kindergarten assistant or Teacher Aide
- Excellent knowledge of child development and latest education theories and practices
- Creative and artistic teaching abilities

Position 2: Clinical Nurse at World Share Ethiopia Project Group Home Gwangwa (Project officer)
About the position:
Clinical Nurses are responsible for teaching Children’s & their Care Givers about preventing and managing medical conditions, Nutrition, hygiene, vaccine, growth and development. By relaying information, nurses help Children’s & their Care Givers take control of their healthcare. Clinical Nurse who provides Children’s & their Care givers in clinical settings. As a clinical nurse, your duties might include assessing a Children’s and their Care givers condition, administering medication, providing emotional support, and/or educating Children’s and their Care givers on how to manage their illness or injury.
Key Areas of Accountability/Duties:
A clinical nurse/BSC is an advanced-practice nurse who provide children’s and their care givers and consultation services for a variety of health care areas, development and growth of children, nutrition, vaccination, and counseling on family planning methods.
Required Qualification:
- BSc degree in Nursing from a recognized higher institution
- 2 years of experience in Health Education, Nutrition and vaccination area
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Oromiffa
- Current Professional license to practice nursing profession in Ethiopia
- Desirable qualities, skills and competences
- Provide clinical services for U5 children
- Responsible for all nutrition screening activities (screening, Treatment)
- Provided Vitamin A and deworming.
- Provide EPI services.
- Counselling on IYCF-E packages including advice for breast feeding
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Knowledge of local language is mandatory
- Ability to execute budget and conduct project and write proposal

Position 3: – Clinical Nurse at World Share Ethiopia MNCH Project (Project Officer
Key Areas of Accountability/Duties:
- Provide basic health and nutrition services including community IMNCI/ICCM, Safe motherhood, referral, health education, EPI, as per Oromia RHB nutrition Guide line
- Facilitate essential drugs, supplies and therapeutic products for the selected health facilities
- Facilitate training, work closely with MOH staffs at health posts, health center
- Provide onsite training to HEW and Nurses.
- Ensure Job aids are available in Health posts (HEW quick reference, Look up table, report format, tally sheet)
- Receive weekly reports from HEW at weekly basis, cross check the completeness and accuracy and submit to Woreda Project officers.
- Mentoring and assist HEW in decision of patients who are at severe risks and need to be transferred to nearby hospital.
- Work any tasks assigned by the line manager and the organization.
Required Qualification:
- BSc degree in Nursing from a recognized higher institution
- 2 years of experience in Health Education, Nutrition and vaccination area
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Oromiffa
- Ability to organize and manage community meetings
- Have excellent skill on awareness creation activities
- Current Professional license to practice nursing profession in Ethiopia
- Proficiency in common computer package(word, Power Point, XL …)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Knowledge of local language is mandatory

Position 4: – Leather-Craft trainer (Project Assistance)

Complete of secondary education, 3 rd grade valid driving license
Work experience:
2 years of previous related work experience with non-governmental organizations
Required skills/competencies:
- Excellent oral and written communication in English and oromifa
- Must reside in and share experience, language and/or culture of the community to be served
- Residence in Addis Ababa
- Must have extensive driving experience
- Must travel to oromia guwangua office at least once a month
