Position 1: Child Protection and Gender – Based Violence Prevention Coordinator
Major Responsibility:
- Leads the preparation of ongoing situation reports, periodic updates and analyses, by compiling and analyzing data, and related information on overall IDP, returnees and humanitarian crisis in the target area, with a specific focus on child protection/GBV, and prepare written inputs accordingly to inform effective program planning, development and management.
- Conduct regular monitoring visits to intervention woredas to ensure the progress of project implementation on a good track and develop mechanisms to monitor and evaluate the impact of the project implementation in different location, and ensure learning is integrated into future program design.
- Facilitate documentation of best practices and challenges to generate materials for strategic direction of further implementations of CPGBV projects
- Establish effective working relationships with the government counterparts, implementing partners, private and public sectors, consultants, and other development organizations and target populations in the program operation. and Work with the implementation partners to identify and address potential capacity building and/or support needs. Participate at Zonal and Woreda Level monthly CP/GBV cluster meeting as required
- Ensure effective information sharing and learning across the agencies through preparing monthly and quarterly report updates on project activities for internal and Donor consumption,
- Regularly track budget versus actual execution of budget including monthly FFR review together with field finance, and take timely corrective action on irregularities
- Provide technical support including capacity building trainings on GBV prevention and response and MHPSS for CPGBV officer, social workers , MHPSS specialists and key government stake holders
- Ensure Program implementation is in line with international Child protection and GBV minimum standard .
Job Requirements
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
BA Degree in social work, sociology, psychology, and relevant fields of social sciences
Required Professional Experience
- A minimum of five years experience in child protection, Gender-based violence and related areas, program/project development and management in emergency context is required.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing child protection and GBV trainings to a variety of stakeholders.
- Direct case management and experience working with children, women and adolescents is an asset.
- Knowledge and experience on Gender Based Violence programming including prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA) an asset.
- Extensive training in the fields of CP/GBV, psycho-social wellbeing, case management and application of international technical guidelines and standards in Child Protection and GBV

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
BSc in Clinic nursing, Midwifery, Clinical psychologies and Health officer
Required Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 5-year relevant experience on Primary Health Care Service delivery, sociology, project management, Development studies and Nutrition service
- Knowledge and experience on Ethiopia Primary Health Care System,
- Knowledge and experience on MHPSS protocol
- Ability to establish a strong relationship with government, community and other partners in the project operational areas

- Prior NGO experience is desirable

Position 3: Deputy Chief of Party (Re- Advertised)
Job Responsibitlies:
- Oversee the development, management and implementation of the Project.
- Lead all aspects of the implementation and management of the project, including sharing how the project contributes to the thought leadership of the industry.
- Ensure the project is designed and implemented to meet donor expectations in terms of timely and quality results and budget, including strategies for phase out and sustainability.

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Minimum of 7years of senior-level management experience on donor-funded programs. Previous experience with management of USAID-funded programs is required.
- Previous Chief of Party, Deputy Chief of Party, or senior management experience in 2 or more of the following specializations: public health, GESI, , water sanitation and hygiene (WASH), private sector WASH, and/or related field in Ethiopia
- Demonstrated strong understanding of USAID’s community- WASH/public health approaches and gender programming in Ethiopia.
- Experience with NSAs, and community structure/platforms), and capacity building of CSOs and/or FBOs.
- Proven exceptional leadership in the design, management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of similar-sized international donor-supported programs, with skills in strategic planning and thinking, management, supervision and budgeting, and experience managing complex activities involving coordination with multiple program partner institutions.
- Demonstrated skills building and maintaining relationships with host governments, donors, other donor-funded projects and stakeholders, local organizations, and partners.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; excellent demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Experience recruiting, developing, and managing local and international staff and teams.
- Track record of strong commitment to sharing knowledge, documenting experiences, supporting creative initiatives, and sharing credit.
- Experience managing required programmatic and financial reporting requirements. Experience with M&E is a plus.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in Amharic and English.

Position 4: Project Coordinator
Job Description Summary
To provide an overall leadership, supervision and quality assurance for BHA funded Integrated Multi-Sector Response for Conflict-Affected Vulnerable Communities in Tigray. The manager is further expected to initiate, lead, control and report all project activities. The core purpose is therefore to ensure the implementation of all project activities in accordance with sector design, planned activities and budget ensuring the project’s alignment with WV policies, country and donor contexts, BHA rules & regulations.

Activity
Oversee, ensure and coordinate the execution of the entire project in accordance with BHA project proposal document , WVE policies, donor guidelines and government regulations
Ensure the proper physical & financial implementation of the project as planned during the desired timeframe, while ensuring efficient and effective utilization of project resources
Oversee and supervise the project implementation of in operational areas, including thematic leading NGOs; proactively request partners’ feedback on the progress of the project, challenges and concerns encountered and take appropriate actions, ensuring a capacity building and coaching approach
Ensure an intentional networking with field coordination, Emergency Operation Center, Woreda, Zonal and regional government offices/institutions, non-governmental actors and other stakeholders
Ensure the compilation and submission of consolidated financial and narrative reports to the donor alignment to the Contract and the MoU
Ensure active donor engagement as required during donor monitoring visits and delegation meetings
Oversee and ensure the development and execution of a result oriented participatory M&E and knowledge management system, to enhance accountability and impact demonstration
Submit operation plans and regular progress reports to respective government offices on time
Provide internal situation updates and progress reports, actively engage in EOC receive enquiries and give response in consultation with Tigray, Afar & Amhara Response team
In consultation with WVE Tigray Response team and partners, ensure the preparation of detail implementation plans (DIP) and budget breakdowns including cash flow for the project based on the project design

Position 5: Child Protection Participation Project Officer
Major Responsibility:
- Provide technical lead to Child Protection and CP/GBV interventions within the respective HUb in conducting protection risk assessment, detail activity planning, and implementation and monitoring.
- Ensure quality delivery of CPP projects in the respective APs through regular supervisory monitoring, mentoring and coaching of the CPP officers .
- Provide capacity building training for CPP officers designated to each AP in relevant project models related to child protection and participation to ensure effective project implementation.

Position 6: Data Entry, Cleaning & Analysis Officer
Job Description
The purpose of the position is to support the technical staff at woreda level/Zonal level in entering the data collected using paper-based data collection forms at each project kebeles in to the computer using excel database (by creating excel data base for each tool). She/he will enter the data carefully and efficiently into the computer using excel forms developed for this purpose (by ensuring the required quality) and clean the data before handing it to the technical staff that will further clean, review and cross-check the data for its quality before transferring it to Zonal Data Analysis, Learning & Reporting Coordinator and MEL coordinator for further cleaning and review and also provides support to the team in the piloting and rolling out of mobile data collection (MDC) processes planned for this fiscal year. S/he support the M&E officers and the Data analysis, Learning and Reporting Coordinator in further data review, cleaning, analysis, aggregation and compilation.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Entry
- Enters data collected with paper-based data collection tools into the computer for as per the collection tools,
- Make sure that paper based data transfer into computer files or database systems is completed in the required time
- Ensure necessary corrections are carefully considered in the course of data entry
- Tracks and reports on data collection tools submitted late after deadline
Data Quality Assurance
- Make sure that the required data quality is maintained in both hard and soft copies in users’ friendly way.
- Checks the accuracy of data entered into the computer with the corresponding fields of hard copies.
- Ensure the process of data entry is appropriate and in align with functional data collection tools that are in use
- Clean and review the data entered in to the computer (soft copies of data collection tools) before it passes to the next reviewer who further clean it,
- Make sure appropriate corrections are taken in timely manner for data that compromises data quality assurance
- Track and report on data reported in formatted tools as well as nonfunctional data collection tools that are not in use
Data Verification
- Verifies and ensure the accuracy of data entered into computer comparing with paper based data collection tools to avoid discrepancy of data
- Ensure the completeness of each and every data entered on paper-based data before starting data entry
- Make sure the data reported is in an appropriate and functional data collection tool
Data Management and Documentation
- Document and manage reported paper-based data collection tools on a regular basis, by closely working with the MEL teams,
- Organize and sort data on both paper-based records and soft copy following data entry,
- Safeguards data with regular and continuous backups to ensure data protection and security
Data Cleaning and Analysis
- Make sure that the documented hard and soft copy versions of data are matching, consistent and complete, with no incomplete or missing data that are required,
- Review the data entered in to the computer for its quality (ensure its completeness, accuracy, validity etc.,) and do further cleaning, processing and analysis
- Support SPIR II staff in reviewing, cleaning and analyzing the data collected, and its compilation
- Support the WV Office Zonal team in mobile data collection (MDC) piloting and rollout processes,

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Required Professional Experience
- Three or more proven experience as data entry clerk or data entry experience and experience on data cleaning, review and processing;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (strong computer skills) specially excel spreadsheet (and its quality control mechanisms), MS Office Word, and basic understanding of database or related software for data capturing, cleaning and analysis,
- Ability to enter data into a computer quickly, efficiently and accurately and fast typing skills,
- Strong attention to detail and ability to think analytically,
- Very good knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.), and strong working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware, software and peripheral devices,
