Position 1: Sponsorship System & Data Management Specialist
Job Requirements
- Qualification required: BA/BSC in MIS, ICT, English, Psychology, Sociology, and other relevant fields with Experiences: Minimum 3 years and above experience in child sponsorship operation.
- Preferred: BA/BSC in ICT / MIS with 2 years and experiences in child sponsorship data handling.
- Technical Training qualifications required: Professional technical skill desired
- Basic computer skills in Windows, Ms Excel, Word, publisher and power point.
- Proven negotiation skills,
- Fluent writing and spoken English.
Other: Good knowledge in WV sponsorship programs is preferred.

Position 3: Zonal Coordinator
Job Requirements
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
MA/MSc or BA/BSc Degree in Food Science, Agric. Econ, Disaster Management, Rural Development and other relates fields
Required Professional Experience
3-5 Years of extensive exposure to food aid programs (minimum 3 years) & knowledge of commodities & logistics operations, preferably within Food Assistance Operation, specifically those that relate to food distributions, warehousing, reporting, tracking, monitoring etc…
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and working understanding on Emergency Food resource management;
- Demonstrated capacity to lead the team with similar scope of work;
- Experience in food assistance programing, Grants/project management, Market assessment and Analysis, Cash transfer programing, performance management, project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing.
- Good understanding of Humanitarian Accountability standards
- Good knowledge of local context

- Ability to work in high tension and high security risk situations
- Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment
- Experience and knowledge of USAID funded emergency food assistance projects, Red Cross code of Conduct, SPHERE Standard and HAP

- Experience of coordinating livelihood/agriculture and nutrition projects
- Emergency response experience is an advantage.

Job Requirements
Required Professional Experience
- Minimum of 7 years’ relevant work experience from which at least two years are with similar senior management responsibilities as a part of USG-funded programming
- Demonstrated capacity to lead a team with similar scope of work
- PSNP-related work experience, preferably with a USAID or other donor-supported program preferred
- Experience in managing multi-sectoral programs (Ag/Nutrition) with strong capacity building programming preferred
- Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
BA/BSc required, and MA/MSc in Agriculture, Economics, Development, Social Sciences, or MBA preferred.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and working understanding of PSNP and USAID Food Security and Resilience programs
- Excellent partnership, communication and advocacy skills and the ability to interact effectively with donors, collaborating agencies, local and government partners
- Excellent organization and planning skills and ability to resolve problems constructively
- Computer literate, with strong knowledge of MS Office applications,
- Flexibility, persistence, and ability to work well in a multi-sectoral team
- Ability and willingness to travel to areas with fragile security situation
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement: 30% field travel
Language Requirements: Knowledge of local language (Oromifa) is mandatory

Position 8: Resource Development Advisor
Job Requirements
- BA/BSc Degree in Social sciences, Development Studies and related fields.
- MA/MSc/MBA/ in Social Sciences, Development Studies and related fields
- For BA degree 6 years and for Master’s 4 years of working experience amongst 2 of which have been in the capacity of concept notes and proposal development management within high pressure environment
- Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) with ability to express ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively with senior internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to provide support and training to staff and partners on donor requirements
- Basic financial awareness, with the ability to support budget development
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and detail orientation, even under time pressure
- Strong planning, organizational and project management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Proven interpersonal, representation, networking, negotiation and leadership skills
- Proven ability to build trust and relationships to work productively and to inspire teamwork even without line management authority
- Ability to identify risks and issues and escalate them in a timely manner for proper resolution
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and work in a context of people with various ethnic and religious backgrounds
- Understanding of World Vision’s standards and commitment to World Vision’s core values and mission statement, including participation in regular devotions. Ability to exhibit exemplary lifestyle as interpreted in specific local cultural context.
- Knowledge of and adherence to Red Cross and NGO Code of Conduct
