In addition, the microfinance institutions play a vital role in addressing the financial needs of unbanked populations.
Addis Bank S.C would like to invites competent, Qualified and interested candidates for the following positions.
Position 1: IT Risk and Compliance Officer
Job Requirements:
Bachelors’ Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or other closely related fields.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the banking sector, of which at least 1 year in junior officer position.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director, Risk & Compliance Management Department, the IT Risk and Compliance Officer is responsible for supporting the identification, assessment, and monitoring of information technology risks across the Bank. The role ensures IT-related operations and systems comply with internal policies, cyber security frameworks, and regulatory directives issued by the Bank and the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE). The Officer assists in implementing risk mitigation measures, tracking compliance issues, and promoting a secure and compliant IT environment.

Position 2: Senior IT Risk and Compliance Officer
Job Requirements:
Bachelors’ Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or other closely related fields.
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the banking sector, of which at least 2 years in officer position.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director- Risk & Compliance Management Department, the Senior IT Risk and Compliance Officer supports the development and implementation of the Bank’s IT risk and compliance framework. The role involves identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting on technology-related risks, ensuring alignment with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The Officer ensures that IT operations, systems, infrastructure, and digital initiatives comply with the Bank’s risk appetite and National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) directives. The position also supports the enhancement of cyber risk controls, data protection measures, and IT governance standards, contributing to a secure, resilient, and compliant technology environment across the Bank.

Position 3: Senior Brand and Digital Experience Officer
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing /Marketing Management/ Business Management/ Management/ or related fields.
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the banking sector, of which at least 2 years in officer position.
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Brand & Digital Experience Division Manager, the position is responsible for translating the Bank’s brand and digital experience strategy into actionable plans and leading their execution. It oversees brand roll-out initiatives, digital marketing activities, and social media engagement, ensures adherence to brand guidelines, and monitors brand performance and sentiment. The role supervises officers, coordinates cross-functional implementation, and supports continuous improvement of brand impact and customer engagement.

Position 4: Branch Manager I
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance/Banking/ Management or other closely related fields.
A minimum of 7 years of relevant banking experience; out of which 2 years in supervisory role or equivalent positions.
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director, District Office, the Branch Manager plans, organizes, directs, and controls all activities of the branch. The role mobilizes resources, approves loans, overdraft facilities, and local and foreign transfers within authorized limits, handles foreign exchange transactions, and reviews the business and financial background of loan and guarantee applicants. Additionally, the Branch Manager prepares regular reports on branch activities to support effective decision-making and oversight.
