Position 1: Project Officer I
Purpose:
In the context of the education project to which s/he is assigned, the incumbent will facilitate systems and procedures that ensure the active participation of IDP and host communities in the planning, implementation and governance of the project. Moreover, s/he backstops teachers, PTSAs, and the relevant sector office staff in matters concerning the implementation of the project. S/he furthermore, trains, guides, and supervises Development Facilitators, and engages in the day-to-day operations of the project, and participates in the monitoring of the project, ensuring compliance with the relevant policies & procedures pertaining to child protection, inclusive education and gender transformative approaches
Qualification: MA/MSc/BA/BSc in Education, Development Studies, Sociology, or related fields
Work Experience: At least 2/4 years relevant experience
Skills, attitude and attributes:
- Proficiency in verbal and written English
- Proficiency in standard application soft wares
- Analytical skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Self-starting
- Stress tolerance
- Firm belief in team work, gender equity, and sensitivity to safeguarding and protection issues
- Familiarity with the local context, and knowledge of the local vernacular
- Integrity and accountability

Position 2: Project Coordinator I
Purpose:
The purpose of the position is, in close coordination with the relevant stakeholders, to plan, organize, direct, coordinate and supervise the implementation of the project to which he/she is assigned. Among other things, the incumbent will manage the human, material, and financial resources of the project, in accordance with organizational policies and procedures, and facilitates project interventions ensuring the enforcement of educational quality standards. He/she engages with stakeholders to ensure the smooth and accountable implementation of the project
Job Requirement
Qualification: MA/MSc or BA/BSc in a field of Education, Development Studies, Economics, Sociology or related fields.
Work Experience: At least 4/ 6 years relevant experience. Direct experience in the coordination of projects in NGO environment
