Cheshire Ethiopia is an independent non-profit making organization who provide orthopedic and social rehabilitation services for children and young people with disabilities in Ethiopia.
The charity was established in 1962 by the grand Children of the late Emperor Haile Selassie and with technical support of Captain Leonard Cheshire. CE is a local independent NGO, staffed by Ethiopians and registered as an Ethiopian Resident Charity, while playing a leading role in physical rehabilitation of person with disability mainly children in Ethiopia.
Cheshire Ethiopia would like to invite qualified and interested job seekers to apply for the following vacant position.
Position 1: Junior Physiotherapist
Educational Qualification
BSC degree in physiotherapy
Experience:
0 year
Under the general supervision of the A.A RC manager, the Junior Physiotherapist is responsible for treating and assessing of children with disabilities (CWDs) and advising parents to do home developmental activities, writes prescriptions for appliances and medical referral to other hospitals or institutions the administration of physical therapy treatment to patients, trains mothers in acquiring skills, writes a monthly performance report.
Salary: 16164 Birr
Medical allowance per year: 15,000
Transportation allowance per month: 500
Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Menagesha Rehabilitation Center
Position 2: Receptionist- Secretary
Educational Qualification
Diploma in Secretarial science and office management or ICT
Experience
2 years
Under the general supervision of the Eye care unit leader, the receptionist-secretary is responsible to receive and register clients’ direct services category and prepare preliminary documents and files; clients’ bio-data on the files for the services provider. Perform secretariat services as required.
Salary: 7873
Medical allowance per year: 15,000
Transportation allowance per month: 500
Duty Station: Menagesha Rehabilitation Center
Deadline: July 11, 2025
