Position 1: External Financial Audit Services
About You
Qualification & Eligibility Criteria
Interested Audit Firms must meet the following minimum qualification requirements:
- Legal Registration: Officially registered and licensed Audit/Accounting Firm with the national statutory accounting body (e.g., ICPA / ACCA / CPA Council).
- Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of active experience in conducting financial audits for NGOs, non-profits, and international donor-funded projects.
- Personnel Qualifications: Audit Engagement Partner and Audit Manager must be certified accountants (CPA, ACCA, CA) with at least 8–10 years of audit experience.
- Donor Familiarity: Proven track record auditing multi-donor grants (e.g., Danish Aid, EU, USAID, UN agencies).
- Independence: Complete independence from CSRC, free from any real or perceived conflict of interest.

How to Apply:
Proposal Submission Guidelines
Interested and qualified audit firms are invited to submit their proposal consisting of two parts:
A. Technical Proposal
- Profile of the audit firm detailing legal registration, tax compliance certificates, and organization structure.
- Description of the methodology and technical approach to be used for this audit.
- List of similar past audit assignments conducted for non-profit organizations (with reference contacts).
- CVs of the proposed audit team (Key Audit Partner, Senior Auditor, Audit Associates).
- Proposed timeline and work plan.
B. Financial Proposal
- Itemized audit fee broken down by professional fees, administrative overheads, travel/out-of-pocket expenses, and applicable taxes (VAT/Withholding tax).
- Currency of bid: Ethiopian Birr (ETB).
Submission Instructions & Deadline
- Mode of Submission: Proposals must be delivered in separate sealed envelopes (one for the Technical Proposal and one for the Financial Proposal).
- Submission Deadline: August 25, 2026, at 5:00 PM (17:00 HRS). Late submissions will not be considered.
- Physical Address: Alex (Afomi) Building, 4th Floor, Office 4c (Located on Bole Road, behind Friendship Supermarket), Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Note: Late submissions will not be considered. Only shortlisted audit firms will be contacted for further evaluation.
