Position 1: Gender, Safeguarding & Inclusion Advisor
About You
About You
Qualification and Experience:
- At least fiur (4) years with master’s degree or six (6) years of experience with first degree in public health, sociology, gender studies, social and behavioural science or other relevant disciplines.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead the collection, analysis, and utilization of information from a broad range of sources.
- Proven technical expertise in addressing harmful gender norms, preventing, and responding to gender-based violence, reducing vulnerability of adolescent girls and young women, and constructive engagement of men and boys, as applied to very poor and highly vulnerable settings.
- Familiarity with safeguarding standards and experience overseeing incident response protocols is an asset.
- Experience providing technical coaching and mentorship to colleagues.
- Ability to write, compile and/or edit quality learning documents
- Proficient in English and Amharic, and somali language both written and verbal communication Willingness to travel within project areas.
