Position 1: Clearance Staff
Education
- College Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or higher qualification in a relevant field.
Experience
- Previous experience in customs clearance, logistics, freight forwarding, import-export operations, or related areas is preferred.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and verify customs clearance documents for imported goods.
- Communicate with customs officers, freight forwarders, and logistics agents regarding shipment clearance and delivery status.
- Maintain accurate records of customs documentation and transactions.
- Support the finance department by providing customs-related documents for reconciliation purposes.
- Resolve day-to-day customs clearance issues efficiently.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with local authorities and business partners.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company procedures.
Language Skills
- Proficiency in both English and Amharic.
- Excellent listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Ability to accurately translate and communicate information between English and Amharic.
Position 2: Office Assistant
Education
- College Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or higher qualification in a relevant field.
Experience
- Previous experience in customs clearance, logistics, freight forwarding, import-export operations, or related areas is preferred.
