Deborah Foundation would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position 1: Office secretory
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Proven proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Affan Oromo, Amharic, and English
- Proven ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in all three languages
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Proficient in the use of office equipment, software, and technology, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email applications
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a positive, professional manner
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and helpful demeanor
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle various tasks and changing priorities
- Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues
Position 2: Fundraising and Research expert
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, donor relations, or resource development
- Proven track record of securing significant gifts and grants from a diverse range of funding sources
- Excellent research, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling fundraising materials
- Proficient in the use of donor database software, research tools, and other relevant technologies
- Passion for the organization’s mission and a commitment to sustainability and growth
Position 3: Web and Social Media Officer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree computer science or related field
- Minimum 1 years of experience in website management, social media marketing, and digital content creation
- Proficient in using a variety of content management systems, social media platforms, and digital analytics tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and effective digital content
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Passion for the organization’s mission and a commitment to leveraging digital channels to drive impact
Workplace: Head Office, Bole behind Sur construction
