Yazawa Spare Parts is a trailblazer in Ethiopia’s automotive industry, proudly standing as the nation’s first dedicated spare parts shop for electric mobility vehicles (EMVs). Established in March, 2024, we are committed to supporting the burgeoning EV ecosystem and ensuring a seamless ownership experience for our customers. It’s currently looking to expand its team with exceptional talent that will ensure premium service to its customers.
Position 1: Junior Multimedia Designer
Requirements:
- 6 months experience in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related field.
- BA Degree in Computer Science, Architecture or related field.
- Basic skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Experience using Canva for quick design tasks and template-based content creation.
- Familiarity with AI-powered design tools
- Understanding of typography, layout, and visual composition.
- Basic knowledge of video production and editing.
- Ability to take feedback and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- English proficiency is a plus
- A portfolio showcasing design or multimedia work (student projects acceptable).
- Familiarity with motion graphics and simple animations.
- Knowledge of photography or videography.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).

Position 2: Mechanical Battery Technician
Skills
- Basic understanding of mechanical tools and factory equipment.
- Ability to follow engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
- Good time management and multitasking ability.
Experience
- Fresh graduates or 0/1 years experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in automotive/electric vehicle components.

Position 3: Hardware Team Lead
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- 3-5 Years of Experience in Mechanical Engineering, Battery system or related field.
Technical Skills
- Strong electrical fundamentals: HV architecture, contactors.
- Proficient in testing instruments (IR meter, multimeter, DAQ equipment).
- Knowledge of safety standards and certification test methods.
- Strong documentation and reporting capability.

Position 4: Quality Manager
Requirements
- Engineering degree with 5–8 years in quality (battery/automotive/electronics).
- Strong knowledge of reliability engineering, RCA, and statistical quality tools.

Position 5: Hardware and Internet of Things Expert
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Embedded Systems.
- 5–8 years in BMS integration, EV diagnostics, or IoT system engineering.
- Strong CAN, embedded systems, and telemetry background.

Position 6: Account Manager
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Good management skills, at least 3 years of managerial experience
- Has led or supervised audits, both external and internal as well as tax audits
- Well versed on Ethiopian tax regulations
- Go getter attitude with agility to handle unexpected situations
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software & Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
