Ethio telecom has an ambition to Provide Reliable Communications & Digital Financial Services and Simplify Life and Accelerate Digital Transformation of Ethiopia. Ethio telecom has got its current status since 29th November 2010 as a part of Ethiopia’s 2005/06 – 2009/10 GTP following the federal government’s decision to focus on improving telecom services, taking them as key to national development.
Ethio telecom would like to invite qualified and interested job seekers to apply for the following vacant position.
Position 1: Contact Center Advisor – Aff-Somali
Vacancy Code: IRC40337
Qualification: B.A. Degree in Management, Business Management, Business Administration, Marketing Management, Economics, or Accounting.
Work Experience: Not Required.
Language: Proficiency in Amharic and English, with fluency in Aff-Somali mandatory.
Location: Ethiopia
Organization: Contact Center Group 3-1
Grade: 4.SB41
Additional Requirements:
Customer-oriented approach.
Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
Self-control and ability to work effectively under time constraints and challenging situations.
Team spirit and cross-functional collaboration.
Knowledge of Ethio telecom’s offers, tools, processes, and communication methods.
Knowledge of customers and their environment.
Ability to coach.
Knowledge of relevant IT applications.
Ability to maintain a positive mindset, proper behavior, discipline, punctuality, and regular attendance.
Ability to prepare accurate individual reports on frontline activities, ensure targets are met, and maintain records for continuous learning and improvement.

Qualification: L.L.B Degree or Level V with COC in Law or Legal Services Management.

Grade: 4.SB42
Language: Affan Oromo language skill is preferable.
General Mission:
Takes part in the overall activities of legal issues relating to litigation.
Provides expert advice to management on matters that are causes for litigation.
Represents the company before judicial and other tribunals.
Contributes to cross-functional actions to enhance company performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research on minor corporate legal issues that require management guidance.
Review and evaluate potential legal issues in policy decisions, procedures, and company manuals and propose measures to address identified gaps.
Prepare statements of claims, statements of defense, memoranda of appeal, and other pleadings.
Appear before courts and other quasi-judicial bodies competent to adjudicate disputes in which the company is a party.
Prepare legal advice and opinions on relatively less complex subjects.
Represent the company in out-of-court settlement negotiations.
