Position 1: Junior Mechanical Engineer (MEP 007/2025)
Position Overview/Scope of role:
Responsible for supporting in the mechanical section of the team, including design quality, performance, work processes and resourcing management of the section.
Top Roles and Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain strong working relationship with internal and external stakeholders, design team
Support in liaising with clients and other engineers to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
Support and learn in the development of production including Clean Room design, computer modeling, selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, testing, and implementation of products and systems.
Communicate directly with site team to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications and operational environments
Represent the company in professional and diligent manner at all times
Support develops, review, update, modify, and approve mechanical design plans and work schedules.
Collaborate with research, design, fabricate, and install HVAC mechanical equipment to meet client’s requirements in both large and small projects.
Consult on HVAC system and equipment design for a wide range of projects, and work with other engineers, project managers, and construction professionals as needed to create and/or modify design

Position 2: Junior Electrical Engineer (MEP 008/2025)

Position 3: Senior Accountant (Finance 012/2025)
Scope Of The Role:
The Senior Accountant is responsible to lead the day to day operational activities of the finance department including but not limited to payment preparation, cash book management, payroll administration, monthly tax declaration and payment etc.
Roles and Responsibilities:
General Accounting and Finance Functions:
Preparation of various payment vouchers for procurement, overtime allowance, petty cash advance to project sites etc. as well as ensure the timely follow-up of advance settlements as per the appropriate procedures which are in place.
Advance and cash book management.
On daily basis make the physical cash count and reconcile the same with the cash book.
Ensure the transactions are properly coded and posted in the system as outlined in the EEC financial manual.
Prepare on quarterly basis the ageing report for all payables and receivables and continuously monitoring the liquidation of those balances as per the agreement which are in place and flag long outstanding balances for management for decision making.
Prepare journal summaries
Establish, maintain and reconcile the periodic financial transactions as required.
Perform the monthly bank reconciliation once in every month end and as required.
Administer and monitor the financial system to ensure that the finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist in preparing income statement, balance sheets, statement of cash flow and statement of change in equity.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly management reports and other report as requested by managements
Maintain financial files and records which are under his/ her custody.
Perform the monthly and year-end financial closings of the company’s account as required.
Tax and Audit Compliance:
Prepare and submit the periodic VAT declaration to the relevant tax office accordingly.
Prepare, follow-up and settle all tax related payment to the relevant local tax authorities (income tax, pension tax, VAT, profit tax etc.) as required and continue to making EEC Construction a tax compliant company.
Assist by availing one self and the required financial files during external audit (both for external and tax audits) in support of the audit process.
Perform the appropriate audit corrections as per the agreed audit comments as instructed.
Payroll Administration:
Ensure that employment income tax and pension is properly computed and deducted from the employee salary on monthly basis as per the laws which are in place.
Check correctness of calculations in computing the net pay of employee’s payroll.
Prepare and administer EEC Construction’s monthly staff payroll and ensure the salary transfers to each staff bank accounts on monthly basis.
Educational Qualification:
B.A. degree in Accounting,
5 years of related work experience out of which 1 year at international company is an added advantage
Demonstrated experience working in a construction firm is an asset,
Experience working with affiliated organizations commissioning complex construction projects by hiring construction firms is an asset
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting procedures especially relevant to the construction industry in Ethiopia
Knowledge of local finance and accounting laws and regulations in relation to the construction sector.
Experience and working knowledge of using financial software
Skills:
Proficient user of Ms Office applications with advanced MS Excel and MS Word skills
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Sharp time management skills
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Position 4: Junior Site Engineer’s (For Different Departments) (Vacancy Code -Building 014/2025)
Scope of the role
To support the On-Site Engineering per the relevant scope requirements, ensuring that all installation/statutory/consultants/local authorities approvals and guidelines are applied on site at all times and that the Contract Specifications and Requirements are upheld as per the Company QA/QC policies. Staff & Labor Performance Efficiencies are to be recorded and reported weekly to senior management. Contract Engineering documentation and Delivery requirements are to be disseminated by the Site Engineer.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensure that all contract specifications and guidelines are adhered to at all times during the commencement/construction/hand-over periods of the project.
Ensure that material submittals are issued with the relevant consultants requirements and that the site teams have usable and up to date information. A register must be put in place and maintained at all times.
Ensure that all Method Statements & Risk Assessments are in line with company HSE/QA-QC procedures. This information must also be recorded on a usable platform. Make sure that all compliance statements, testing and commissioning, spares, warranties and delivery period requirements are upheld at all times.
Support procurement/long lead item schedule in tandem with your line managers/project engineers indicating delivery dates and the status of the pending material/s deliveries and follow up delivery dates whilst recording any issues which may impact programme delivery.
Control the dissemination of contractual documents (drawings/contracts/specifications) – usable drawings and information must be issued to the relevant site team members to be able to carry out works per the specifications and contract requirements within the time frame of the programme.
Changes to the scope of works must be forwarded to the Commercial Team immediately.
Manage the on-site Drawing Control and As Built Information making sure that all drawings are checked and signed off prior to issuing to the relevant team members – a weekly record of drawing updates and change requirements must be kept at all times indicating relevant changes to the built systems.
Uphold and maintain the QA/QC requirement of the project and make sure that the installations are checked and signed off by the relevant team members prior to issuing inspection documentation.
You will also be expected to carry out/manage full material take-offs and issue the relevant measurables in tandem with the SE’s & CM’s and confirm compliancy requirements are adhered to at all times.
Make sure that project team efficiencies are recorded and reported to your senior managers and make sure that delays, stoppages, constraints and deviations are recorded weekly and issued to the site planner or project manager.
Make sure that Testing & Commissioning Requirements, Spares Requirements, Warranty and Defect Liability Periods are understood during the closing out period of the contract and that all written compliance are agreed and signed off by the responsible parties.
Educational Qualification:
Bsc in Civil Engineering/COTM or related field of study
CGPA 3.0 and above
Should Pass Exit Exam
Year of Graduation – 2024 and 2025 Only
Work Experience
Fresh graduates with zero years of experience

Must have the passion to work on site
Great communication skills
Ability to use MS Office
