Position 1: Accountant
Education
:MA/MBA/ACCA in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, OR
BA/BSC Degree in
Accounting, Accounting and Finance, or related fields with 3-4 years of relevant experience.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks or similar).
Knowledge & skill in IPSAS
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Position 2: Cashier
Duties and Responsibilities
Receive cash and cheques and issue pre-numbered Cash Receipt Vouchers.
Deposit collected funds intact into the bank and submit receipt and bank deposit slip to the accounts.
Maintain a petty cash register and make payments according to signed payment orders.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of petty cash payment vouchers and supporting documents.
Follow up on temporary advance payments, ensuring they are settled and reported in the records.
Reconcile the cash balance with records and clear all advances taken by staff.
Request replenishment of petty cash when the balance reaches the minimum limit.
Produce a petty cash replenishment report for review.
Maintain organized records of all cash transactions.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor..
Job Specification
Education: BA/BSc Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, or a related field with up to one year of relevant work experience, OR
TVET Level IV completion in Accounting, Banking & Insurance with 7+ years of relevant work experience.
Required Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in basic accounting principles and petty cash management.
Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly.
Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Good communication skills and ability to work with others.
Familiarity with EPHA’s financial policies and procedures.

Position 3: RH/FP Project Officer
Education qualification and relevant work experiences
MPH or MSC preferably in Reproductive Health with a background in Midwifery, Nursing, or Health Officer and at least four years of relevant work experience, of which 2 years as project officer or coordinator preferably RH/FP program/projects, and 2 years in service delivery point/MCH/FP services mainly in providing Long-acting contraceptives.
BSc in Midwifery, Nursing, or Health Officer or equivalent and at least six years of relevant work experience, of which 4 years in working on projects preferably RH/FP program/projects, and 2 years at service delivery point/MCH/FP services mainly in providing Long-acting contraceptives
Experience in coordinating projects in humanitarian or conflict-affected settings
Good experience coordinating or supervising public health surveys and using data analysis software wares e.g., SPSS, Epi-Info …
Experience of working with INGOs or local NGOs is desired
Clinical experience
Sound clinical experience in providing long-acting family planning methods mainly IUCD insertion at health facilities at least for one year – written evidence is required
Preferred training
Comprehensive Family Planning with an emphasis on long-acting FP methods, priority will be given to those having ToT or master TOT.
Other related training like infection prevention, FP client-centered counseling (specific), supportive supervision, catchment-based RMNCH service mentorship, M & E, and …
Desirable quality and skill
Training facilitation skills mainly RMNCH/ Family planning/LARC topics
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a proactive approach
Active listener, critical thinker, and problem-solver
Situational awareness, innovative and system thinker
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of professionals
Excellent training and event facilitation skills
Ability to work outside the ‘business as usual approach’ during hardship situations
Must have integrity and a pleasant personality
Excellent presentation and report-writing skills
Fluent both in English and Amharic and/or Oromiffa is an additional asset
Passionate, strongly dedicated, and highly committed to working for the improvement of the vulnerable and poor community
Location/Duty Station:
Tepi, Shaka Zone, with frequent travel to 5 project woredas in Shaka
and
Ginir, East Bale Zone, with frequent travel to 5 project woredas in East Bale Zone
Salary: As per the Association scale

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Public Health, Nursing, health officer, or another health-related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in health systems strengthening and program management and or experience working in public health or community health.
Good understanding of health systems and healthcare delivery.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Willingness to travel within the assigned Woreda.
