Ethiopost is Ethiopia’s principal postal service provider, operating over 600 branches across the country. Its new vision is to become a global leader in postal services and a preferred partner in logistics, financial, and government services.

Ethiopost is a state-owned enterprise (SOE) responsible for establishing and expanding postal services nationwide. As the designated postal operator (DPO), it provides postal services throughout Ethiopia to fulfill the government’s universal service obligation (USO).

Ethiopost would like to invites competent, Qualified and interested candidates for the following positions.

Position 1: Casher

Qualifications:

Degree in accounting, Business administration or related with 0 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

Accurately handle cash, card, vouchers, and other payment methods during transactions.

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Assist customers with their purchases, answer questions, and resolve any concerns or complaints.

Operate the cash register or POS system to process transactions, issue receipts, and give change.

Adhere to security procedures, including verifying the authenticity of currency and detecting counterfeit money.

Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area, ensuring that it is well-organized and presentable to customers.

Count and reconcile the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each day, ensuring accuracy and reporting any discrepancies.

Also performs related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Location: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Finance Operations Manager

Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting and finance with 4 years experience.

Responsibilities:

Establishing and maintaining productive client relationships.

Preparing management accounts and budget-holder reports, identifying significant trends and variances.

Tracking and logging expenses, ensuring spending remained within approved budgets.

Coordinating the smooth operation of monthly payroll, facilitating timely employee payments

Executing year-end audits, working with external auditors to confirm clean financial audits, and implementing any improvement suggestions promptly.

Identifying financial data discrepancies, investigating causes, and proposing solutions.

Updating company financial policies and procedures to enhance internal control over accounting and other management systems.

Maintaining and updating the fiscal calendar for audit schedules, tax reporting, and other reporting deadlines.

Collating prepared and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, and financial statements to assist senior management decision-making.

Producing year-end financial statements in line with regulatory standards.

Consulting with managers and chief executives to understand the financial situation.

Assessing financial strengths and weaknesses of company strategy.

Directing financial team, established controls, and set policies for optimum operational results.

Controlled expenditures, oversaw record keeping, and monitored compliance with standards.

Increasing transparency of financial operations to prepare for external audits.

Managing accounts payable and receivables, raising invoices, reconciling accounts, and processing cash transactions.

The position holder supervises and supports the workers under him; and performs the annual objective setting and evaluations as per the Human resource manual and other internal SOPs.

Also performs related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Location: Addis Ababa

Position 3: Sales Manager

Qualifications:

BA in sales, marketing, management

degree with 4 years of experience.

Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire employees, make tough decisions and manage conflicts.

Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders.

Understanding of the industry and market in which the organization operates, including trends, competitors, and regulatory issues.

Ability to adapt to changing business environments and market conditions and make decisions quickly and effectively.

Location: Hawassa
