IVY Tech PLC would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position: Online Tutor (Grades 1– 12) – Multiple Subjects
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in the subject you are teaching or a related field.
- Applicants with PGDT and/or HDP Certificate are especially encouraged to apply.
- N.B. Tutors may only teach the subject in which they have graduated, or if they have a minor in that subject. No tutor is permitted to teach multiple subjects.
- Female applicants are highly encouraged to apply.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1–2 years of teaching or tutoring experience. Familiarity with the Ethiopian curriculum and standards is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong subject knowledge in the chosen discipline(s).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with technology (computers, video conferencing tools, etc.)
Other Requirements:
- A laptop or desktop computer with a working camera and microphone is a must.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
- Availability to work flexible hours, particularly evenings and weekends.
- Successful completion of a background check, including credentials verification
