Position 1: Senior Accountant
Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant is a mid-level finance professional responsible for overseeing and performing complex accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and providing financial analysis and reporting to support informed decision-making.
They are expected to have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry’s best practices.
They may also be responsible for mentoring junior accountants and potentially managing a team.
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Reporting to: Deputy Finance Manager or Finance Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and analyze financial reports for management and other stakeholders.
Accounting Operations:
Process and verify financial transactions, including invoices, expense reimbursements, and bank statements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations.
Assist with audit preparations and internal control evaluations.
Financial Analysis:
Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential issues.
Develop recommendations for improving financial performance and efficiency.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Team Leadership and Mentoring:
Supervise and mentor junior accountants, providing guidance and support.
May be responsible for assigning tasks and managing workloads.
Other Duties:
Assist with tax preparation and compliance.
Participate in department projects and initiatives.
Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and regulations.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from a recognized University; additional education or certification in finance administration is a plus.
More than 7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate accounting department
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) , IFRS and financial reporting standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented and organized
Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
Position 2: Project Sales Executive-I
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
Coordinate with marketing teams to align sales strategies and solutions with market trends and customer needs.
Manage and oversee the entire sales project lifecycle, from initial client consultation to closing deals, ensuring timelines and targets are met.
Liaise between the sales team and other departments, such as product development and customer service, to ensure product offerings meet client expectations.
Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement and recommend sales strategies for growth.
Prepare and manage the sales project budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and financial objectives are met.
Facilitate training and development programs for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to secure the most advantageous terms while maintaining quality and service standards.
Minimum Educational & Experience Requirement:
Education: A Sales Project executive typically holds a Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree, with majors in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, economics, or a related field being advantageous. Coursework in project management, sales strategies, market analysis, and communication skills is highly recommended.
Advanced education, such as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, can further enhance prospects, emphasizing leadership, strategic planning, and financial management to excel in coordinating sales projects and leading teams towards achieving business goals.
Experience: Sales Project executive typically come from a background rich in sales and project management experience. They have honed their skills through extensive on-the-job training, often participating in specialized training programs that focus on sales strategies, customer relationship management, and project coordination. Their experience usually spans managing complex sales projects, leading teams, and achieving targets. Successful candidates have a track record of navigating the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, and possess strong leadership qualities to drive project success. Required to have 7-years for First degree or 5-years for Second degree of relevant work experiences.

Sales Forecasting: Analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and economic indicators is crucial for predicting future sales volumes with accuracy. Sales Project executive rely on this analysis to allocate resources efficiently and set achievable targets for their teams, informing strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Client Relationship Management: Maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with clients is central to ensuring smooth project progression and achieving sales targets. Effective communication, understanding client needs, and anticipating challenges are skills that directly influence project success and client satisfaction.

Sales Project executive must communicate value, manage risk, and secure terms that support long-term business relationships and project success.

Position 3: Retail Sales Executive
Position Summary
The Retail Sales Executive is responsible for implementing retail sales strategies to grow the company’s product reach, manage distributor and customer relationships, and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. The position involves market development, retail execution, distributor support, customer service, and monitoring of retail and distribution channels within the assigned region.

Functional Relationships: Department Managers, External Vendors and Customers
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Execute daily and weekly retail sales activities aligned with the company’s overall sales plan.
Identify, engage, and maintain strong relationships with retail customers and authorized distributors.
Monitor distributor performance and ensure timely replenishment and order fulfillment.
Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure product availability at retail points.
Ensure excellent product visibility, placement, and branding at retail locations.
Collect and analyze sales data to prepare periodic performance and forecast reports.
Gather competitive intelligence and suggest actions to enhance market competitiveness.
Support new product launches and marketing campaigns at retail and distributor levels.
Ensure adherence to pricing policies, promotional guidelines, and company standards.
Train and guide junior sales representatives or promoters when required.
Resolve customer complaints professionally and escalate issues to the Sales Manager when necessary.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales Management, or a related field with at least 7 years of proven experience in retail or distribution sales.
Master’s Degree (MA/MBA) in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience in managing sales operations in FMCG, distribution networks, or retail chain businesses is preferred.
Required Competencies and Skills:
Strong knowledge of retail sales operations and distribution management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation, persuasion, and customer service abilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and sales software (CRM/ERP preferred)
