Oda Bultum University was established in November 2007 by the Decree No. 322/2014 issued by the Council of Ministers of the Federal Republic of Ethiopia. The university is located in Chiro town of West Hararge zone of Oromia National Regional Government. It is located 325 kilometers southeast of Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. The area is known for its high quality agricultural products; Coffee, honey and meat, which fetch high prices in the local and international markets, and the charity community.

መስፈርት በሌክቸረርነት ለመቀጠር፡ ለወንዶች 3.50ና ከዚያ በላይ እንዲሁም የመጀመሪያ ድግሪ 3.00ና ከዚያ በላይ የነበራቸው። ለሴቶች 3.35ና ከዚያ በላይ እንደዚሁም የመጀመሪያ ድግሪ ውጤቸው 2.75ና ከዚያ በላይ ያላቸው። ለአካል ጉዳተኞ፣ ለታዳጊ ክልልችና አርብቶ አደር 3.15ና ከዚያ በላይ ሆኖ የመጀመሪያ ድግሪ ውጤታቸው 2.50ና ከዚያ በላይ የነበራቸው።
መስፈርት በረዳት ምሩቅነት ለመቀጠር፡ ለወንዶች 3.25ና ከዚያ በላይ፥ ለሴቶች 3.00ና ከዚያ በላይ ፣ለአካል ጉዳተኞች፣ ለታዳጊ ክልሎችና አርብቶ አደር 2.75ና ከዚያ በላይ ያላቸው።
