Premier Switch Solutions S.C. (PSS) is a top Electronic Payment Processing Company established by major private banks in Ethiopia. The company has implemented a multi-institution shared-switch infrastructure to provide member banks with advanced payment technology for ATM, POS, e-commerce, Mobile Banking, and other payment channels. Additionally, it offers clearing services for Debit/Credit card transactions for the banks.

Premier Switch Solutions S.Co would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.

Position 1: Senior Hardware and Software Officer

Description of Duties:

  • Involve in the development and implementation of policy and procedure for the hardware and software support service.
  • Perform ATM installation and deployment, ATM relocation/update, POS installation and deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Handle ATM image change requests
  • Provide training on hardware and software to end users.
  • Provide the hardware and software support activities and communicate with internal and external customers in regard to their support requests.
  • Provide the provision of first line and second line support for IT infrastructure.
  • Provide regular preventive maintenance.
  • Support and maintain office machines such as computers, printers, scanners, fax, etc.
  • Regularly maintain the card production hardware and software platform including card personalization machines and PIN printers.
  • Provide electronic journals and logs from ATM terminals.
  • Prepare specification, RFP and RFP response documents in the supply chain management processes.
  • Communicate with external vendors to solve any technical hardware and software support issues
  • Check work done for payment requests related to ATM, card personalization machine and any other hardware and software items.
  • Work with the sales team in the supply chain processes
  • Provide after sales support
  • Involve in building knowledge base from different issues observed in support services.
  • Provide training on hardware and software maintenance to end users.
  • Prepare periodic performance reports
  • Undertake any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualification & Work Experience

  • B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • At least five years’ experience in hardware and software maintenance

Position 2: Marketing and Communication Officer II

Description of Duties:

  • Implement the Marketing & Branding functions policy and procedure.
  • Involve in the analyses of brand positioning of the products and services and ensure a positive feedback is maintained.
  • Involve in the design and implementation of external and internal communication strategies.
  • Execute all marketing, advertising, PR, and promotional initiatives.
  • Prepare promotional and advertising materials including newsletters, brochures, flyers in collaboration with marketing companies.
  • Organize company events, press release and meetings.
  • Involve in the development of the marketing strategy of new and existing products and services.
  • Involve in proactively communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of products.
  • Involve in identification and follow-up of opportunities to promote alert to selected target audiences through a range of communications channels, including media, networks, mailings and online communications.
  • Involve in the development and review of promotion materials to assist business units in marketing activities.
  • Maintain relations with media houses and ensure adequate corporate visibility and coverage of all events sponsored by the organisation.
  • Involve in the evaluation of events/marketing activities impact collecting feedback information, impact assessment to inform future development.
  • Conduct marketing performance metrics.
  • Prepare adverts and notices to be announced on newspapers and ensure timely follow up on the implementation.
  • Handle marketing and promotion related correspondences with different promotional agencies.
  • Involve in the preparation of yearly promotional budgets for campaigns and other activities.
  • Prepare periodic reports
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualification & Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • At least 4 years relevant experience in the Marketing and Communications function

Position 3: Senior Datacenter Officer

Description of Duties:

  • Involve in the implementation of the strategic direction of the IT infrastructure, environments Data Centre administration.
  • Manage the implementation of the IT policy, procedures and documents.
  • Perform the design, setup, installation, integration and operation of Data Center facilities to meet the business’ requirements.
  • Monitor all servers, back-up devices, operating systems and environmental systems are installed, configured and always functioning optimally.
  • Manage and monitor all Data Centre assets such as computing devices and facilities (electrical systems, power sources, UPS, AC, humidity, smoke and fire detection, flood detection, surveillance cameras, door access, etc.)
  • Manage physical access to Data Centre.
  • Perform corrective and periodic preventive maintenance of Data Centre equipment’s.
  • Perform cleaning and dust removal of the Data Centre facilities.
  • Work with vendor and monitor all Data Centre infrastructure support activities.
  • Manage the successful delivery of Data Centre and other projects.
  • Conduct periodic Data Centre infrastructure performance metrics.
  • Involve in the design of Data Centre capacity planning and build business continuity.
  • Execute the upgrade and migration of Data Centre infrastructures.
  • Manage high availability, confidentiality, integrity and reliability of Data Centre infrastructure.
  • Provide support services to users within established SLAs;
  • Work with all relevant IT and other work units in the group.
  • Involve in research of Data Centre technologies and standards.
  • Build knowledge base from the lessons learned.
  • Manage incidents timely.
  • Provide training, coaching and mentoring of employees within the department towards effective career development.
  • Prepare periodic reports.
  • Attend incidents, interruptions, malfunctions, and system quality reductions at any moment.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualification & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience.
