School of Built Environment (SBE) would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position 1: PROFESSOR
JOB SUMMARY
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Teaching and advising in graduate Programmes in area of Natural Resources Management, Urban Environmental Policy, Urban Environment Planning and Management, Urban Landscape analysis and Planning, Environmental and Social impact assessment, Climate Change mitigation and adaptation planning, Natural hazard management and the like.
• Securing urban research grant and administering research projects, assisting in expansion of post-graduate academic programmes.
• Securing Consultancies and administering consultancy projects
JOB REQUIREMENT
• Qualification: PhD in Natural Sciences and related fields
• Requirements: Professorship in Urban Environmental and Landscape Planning
• Work Experience:
o 15 years and above in teaching, research and community service in Urban Environmental and landscape Planning, out of which 8 years was delivered in the rank of professor, as a researcher and PhD academic advisor.
o At least 10 years of experience in academic management as academic Unit head or Director or Dean.
Deadline : April 28, 2026
