Position: Junior Systems Engineer (Customer Support)
Required Qualifications & Competencies
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a technical customer service environment.
- Language: Very good command of English (verbal and written) is strictly required.
- OS Knowledge: Foundational hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows Server or Linux environments.
- Networking: Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional patience, active listening, and the ability to handle high-pressure customer situations calmly.
- Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel to various client offices within Addis Ababa as needed.
Preferred Skills (Advantageous)
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Network+/Security+, CCNA, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner).
