More specifically, UNDP supports partner countries in developing policies, leadership skills, partnering abilities, institutional capabilities and building resilience to sustain development results.
UNDP has operated in Ethiopia since 1981. Since then, UNDP has focused on providing Ethiopia with strategic support to build national capacity and enhance the country’s development results in the areas of poverty reduction and economic growth, democratic governance as well as climate-resilient development.
UNDP would like to invites competent and interested candidates for the following position.
Position 1: Intern – Communication
Education:
Applicants must be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme (such as a master’s programme, or higher) OR have recently graduated with a first-level university degree in communication, journalism, international relations or other related fields.
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Ability to work for 6 consecutive months.
Interest in working on communications.
Language:
Fluency in oral and written English and Amharic is required. Knowledge of other UN languages is an asset. (written and spoken)
Place of Work: Addis Ababa – Ethiopia
Deadline: July 3, 2025
